Ausserdem ist auch das lästige Geräusch, das die   bisher üblichen Kreiselgebtäse besonders   bei hohen Umdrehungszahlen verursachten, ganz erheblich vermindert. Bei besonders hohen Umdrehungszahlen, z. B. wenn das Gebläse in Verbindung mit Dampfturbinen oder dgl. Verwendung findet, kann man den Schaufeln ausser der erwähnten Wölbung in der Querrichtung auch noch eine nach vorn oder hinten im Sinne der Drehrichtung von den Halbmessern des Kreisels abweichende Krümmung geben. 



   Die Schaufelform nach der Erfindung kann auch für Kreiselpumpen mit Vorteil Verwendung finden, besonders wenn es sich um Antriebsmaschinen mit hoher Drehzahl, z. B. Turbinen, Elektromotoren, handelt.
