   Beispiel I :   Man entbastet kleinfaserige Seide (Seidenabfall) nach bekannten Methoden, behandelt   mit kaltem Wasser, bis die Faser gut ausgewaschen, schlämmt mit Ameisensäure an, bis ein   gleichmässiger Faserhrei entsteht,   gibt diesen auf geeignete Siebvorrichtungen, welche das Ablaufen der Ameisensäure gestatten und bringt hierauf den Faserkuchen zur Trocknung. Es entsteht ein ausserordentlich zäher, zunächst mehr papierartiger Körper, der   durch zweck-   entsprechende   maschinelle     Behandlung   in ein filzartiges Gebilde übergeführt wird.
