   Es hat sich nun aber herausgestellt, dass bei dieser Anordnung zwischen den Gleitflächen des   Kolbenschiebers d und dem Fusse   des Exzenterringes c ein bedeutender Druck herrscht, der mit dem Verdichtungshube beginnt, während der Verbrennung seinen   Höhepunkt   erreicht und bis zum Ende der Expansion, also bis   zum Auspu Zeitpunkt, andauert.. überdies   steht diese Gleitfläche unter hoher Temperatur, wobei es fast unmöglich erscheint, eine Wasserkühlung anzuordnen. Die Gleitflächen zwischen (lem Exzenter    und seinem   Ring c sind demselben Druck ausgesetzt. 



   Infolge dieser Drücke auf die genannten Flächen und wegen der hohen Temperatur begegnet nicht nur die Schmierung   grossen Schwierigkeiten, sondern   es ist die   Kraftübertragung   von der Kurbelwelle auf die Steuerwelle a eine bedeutende und stossweise.
