Furthermore, a gear 37 is arranged on the cup, which is mounted on the pin, by means of which the cup is suspended from the chain. The cups are tilted by a toothed rack 38 which can be arranged on the arm 32 or at any other suitable location on the frame and which engages with the toothed wheel 37. During the movement of the cup into the tilted position, the rollers 36 press against the articulated arm 39 of the guide 40 and move it in such a way that the cup can rotate through 1800, whereupon the articulated arm 39 returns to its initial position under the action of the spring 41, in which it rests against the stop 42.

The lengthening or shortening of the cup chain in the various positions of the arms 3 and 4 as a result of the changing lengths of contact of the chains with the guide drums in the joints is achieved by the arrangement of springs 43 or other suitable devices within the arms 3 and 4 and 33 balanced.

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Bucket elevator of variable delivery height, characterized in that the sides of the elevator frame consist of two mutually articulated parts (3, 4) which are hinged to the upper guide roller axles or the shields carrying these axles. so that by simultaneously pivoting the middle joints of the frame to the side, the conveying height of the bucket elevator is reduced.

Claims (1)
