Device for controlling several operated by a common suction air line
EMI1.1
The present invention relates to the periodic connection of the pneumatic conveyors with the associated air pump on machines for dismantling the sheet metal forms, in which for this purpose several, z. B. two or three, positively controlled and periodically activated by a pump pneumatic transporters (suckers) are used, one of which lifts the intermediate layers with upward movement and another with sideways movement, the metal flakes from the punch to be dismantled.
For this purpose, between the pump operating the suction devices and the suction devices, i. H. So in the suction line, a control device is switched on, which allows the suction device to be switched on and off suddenly.
Such a control apparatus is shown by FIG. I in connection with a continuously acting pump in an end view. FIG. 2 shows a side view and FIG. 3 shows a plan view. 4 shows, in section, a further embodiment of the control apparatus.
According to both embodiments, the control apparatus has a tap or valve housing k, to which an air supply line m leads from the air pump and from which one, two or more alternately fed lines, depending on the number of suction cups that the machine used to dismantle the stack has n, o branch off to the suction cups. This mutual connection with the common suction line is known per se.
The invention consists in the parts which cause the precise movement of the slide or valves.
In order to feed these lines n, o alternately from the continuously acting pump l, two eccentrics q, ql offset from one another are mounted on a constantly rotating axis p. Against these two snap-on

Line n and the other to line o.
Both the air slide valves t, t1 and the valves u, U1 are controlled by the snap levers r, rl and s, for each snap lever pair, in that the snap levers are alternately attached to a rail w or! act, the bel use of air slides t, t1 (Fig. 2 and 3) are articulated with these and when using valves u, U1 (Fig. 4) wear them or are in permanent connection with them.
Appropriately, the arrangement is made with both pairs of snap levers that each lever snaps off the eccentric when the other has climbed the eccentric curves and the snapping lever acts to control the associated air slide. This results in a sudden opening and closing and thus a safe effect of the suction cups.
