  Dreiphasen-Reihenschlussmotor.

  Three-phase series motor.

In the usual three-phase series collector motors, to which the three-phase current is fed without a chain and in which each stator phase half is wound on a third of each pole pitch, a self-excited direct or alternating current often occurs in the circuit arrangement according to FIGS is indicated by the arrows in FIGS. 1 and 2. Since the network is a short circuit for him, this current easily takes on a very significant strength, limited only by the saturation of the motor, therefore has a strong braking effect and causes the brushes to fire violently.

   In Fig. 1 and 2:
T a power transformer,
St the stator of the three-phase series motor,
 EMI1.1
   S a series transformer.

As can be seen from the course of the arrows, the self-excitation current generates an SSP-pole field if p is the number of pole pairs of the motor.

In FIG. 3 the current direction of the self-excitation current in the conductors of the motor is marked by + and - signs and the position and direction of the poles labeled N and S are indicated by arrows.

In order to prevent the creation of the 6 p-pole self-excitation field, which is superimposed on the 2 p-pole motor field, so! According to the present invention, each phase of the stator winding can be distributed over more than a third of all slots. For this purpose, the windings of the three phases of the stator could be distributed around the circumference such that wires of at least two phases are present in each slot. The winding distribution can be seen from the marking in FIG. 4, and it can be seen very clearly that the + and - conductors of the self-exciting current compensate each other within each slot.

A partial superposition of the windings according to FIG. 5 should also suffice in some cases to suppress or limit the self-excited currents.
