Brsetzt man das Isopren in Beispiel 2 durch 500 Teile lethylbutadien und den Hamster durch 5 bis 10 Teile Thioharnstoff, so resultiert der entsprechende isomere Kautschuk.
Beispiele.
500 Teile einer Mischung aus gleichen Teilen ss-y-Dimethylbutadien und Isopren werden mit 5 bis 10 Teilen sterilisierten Blutserums versetzt. Nach mehrmonatlichen Stehen des Gemisches im Dunkeln resultiert eine weisse Kautschuksubstanz mit vorzüglichen Eigenschaften.
Beispiel 5.
Verwendet man an Stelle der in Beispiel 4 angegebenen Menge Isopren 500 Teile jy-Dimethylbutadien und fügt an Stelle des Serums 5 bis 10 Teile Hühnereigelb oder Hühnerei- weiss hinzu und lässt gleichfalls längere Zeit stehen, so findet auch hier die Polymerisation zu Methylkautschuk statt.
An Stelle der in den Beispielen genannten Butadiene können auch andere homologe oder analoge Butadiene, wie z. B. at-Phenyl-y-methyl-, α-α-Dimethyl-, ss-Propyl-, ss-Isobutylbutadien oder ein BRtadienderivat von der Formel :

oder andere Butadiene des genannten Typus Verwendung finden.
Erwärmt man die Reaktionsmassen, so wird der Prozess der Polymerisation natürlich erheblich beschleunigt.

Examples.
500 parts of a mixture of equal parts of γ-dimethylbutadiene and isoprene are mixed with 5 to 10 parts of sterilized blood serum. After standing for several months in the dark, the mixture results in a white rubber substance with excellent properties.
Example 5.
If, instead of the amount of isoprene given in Example 4, 500 parts of γ-dimethylbutadiene are used and 5 to 10 parts of hen's egg yolk or hen's egg white are added in place of the serum and also left to stand for a long time, polymerization to methyl rubber takes place here too.
Instead of the butadienes mentioned in the examples, other homologous or analogous butadienes, such as. B. at-phenyl-γ-methyl-, α-α-dimethyl, ß-propyl, ß-isobutylbutadiene or a BRtadiene derivative of the formula:
