Verfahren zur Herstellung von in einem Stück gegossenen und durch Sprengen geteilten
Lagerschalen.
Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf das durch Patent Nr. 63941 bekannte Verfahren zur Herstellung von Lagerschalen, gemäss welchem die Lagerschalen in einem Stück gegossen und nachher durch Sprengen geteilt werden. Zweck der vorliegenden Erfindung ist nun, ein leichtes Sprengen an der gewünschten Stelle der Lagerschale zu erzielen und ein genaues Zusammenpassen der Schalenteile auch im fertigen Zustande zu sichern. Dies wird der Erfindung gemäss dadurch erreicht, dass vor dem Sprengen die vollständige Bearbeitung der Lagerlauffläche stattfindet und das Sprengen längs der durch die seitlichen Olkanäle erzeugten Material- verschwächung erfolgt.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform eines nach dem gegenständlichen Verfahren hergestellten Lagerschalenpaares für ein Sellerslager zur Darstellung gebracht.
Die beiden Schalenhälften a und b, die in der Zeichnung in voneinander abgehobenem Zustande dargestellt sind, passen genau im zackigen Bruch der Sprengfuge entlang der Kanten c aufeinander. Die Sprengung erfolgt, wie die Zeichnung zeigt, entlang der durch den ölkanal d verschwächten Stelle der Schale.
Das Verfahren gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung hat den Vorteil, dass infolge der vor dem Sprengen erfolgten Bearbeitung der Lagerlauffläche letztere auch nach dem Sprengen und Zusammenfügen der Lagerschalen genau kreisrund im Querschnitt verbleibt.

Bearing shells.
The subject matter of the invention relates to the method known from patent no. 63941 for the manufacture of bearing shells, according to which the bearing shells are cast in one piece and then divided by blasting. The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a slight detonation at the desired location of the bearing shell and to ensure that the shell parts fit exactly together even in the finished state. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the bearing running surface is completely machined before the blasting and the blasting takes place along the weakened material produced by the lateral oil channels.
The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of a pair of bearing shells for a seller's warehouse produced by the method in question.
The two shell halves a and b, which are shown in a lifted-off state in the drawing, fit together exactly in the jagged break of the explosive joint along the edges c. As the drawing shows, the blasting takes place along the part of the shell weakened by the oil channel d.
The method according to the present invention has the advantage that, as a result of the machining of the bearing running surface carried out before the blasting, the latter remains exactly circular in cross section even after the blasting and joining of the bearing shells.
