Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausgestaltung der im Ö. P. Nr. 33616 geschützten Röst-und Kühltrommel für Kaffeebohnen, Malz und dgl., weiche eine leichte Zugänglichkeit, Zerlegbarkeit und Auswechselbarkeit ermöglichen soll, ohne dass das

Weise in einem in die Trommelwand eingepassten, vermittels einer den Deckel durchdringenden Nabe von aussen drehbaren Einsatze zentrierte Deckel mit diesem Einsatze gleichzeitig herausziehbar ist.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand beispielsweise in einem Längsschnitte mit herausgezogenem Kopfe dargestellt. Die mit dem Schtägerwerke 2 fest verbundene Trommelwand 1 ist einerseits mit einem einen beliebigen Antrieb aufweisenden Achszapfen 3 in einer beliebigen Lagerung, andererseits mit einer flanschartigen Erweiterung 5 in einer entsprechenden Ausnehmung 4 : des Gehäuses 6 gelagert. In die Trommel ist ein mit einer Anzahl Ausnehmungen versehener Deckeleinsatz 7 eingepasst, auf dessen Nabe S der eigentliche Deckel 12, mittels seiner Nabe 11 lose aufgeschoben ist, so dass bei Festhalten des Deckels 12 der Deckeleinsatz 7 in beliebigem Sinne gedreht werden kann.
Der mit seinem Flansche den Einsatz beträchtlich überragende Deckel ist zweckmässig mit einer Zentrierleiste 13 in den Einsatz eingepasst. In seiner Nabe sind Schmiernuten 14 vorgesehen, denen durch eine Bohrung 15 Schmiermittel zugeführt werden können. Im Deckel selbst ist auch das Füllrohr 16 vorgesehen.
Um den aus Deckeleinsatz und Deckel bestehenden Kopf aus der Trommel herausnehmen zu können, sind am Deckel Konsolen oder dgl. 17 angeordnet, an denen Zahnstangen 18 befestigt sind, welche auf an entsprechenden Stellen des Gehäuses 6 vorgesehenen Zahnrädern und Rollen laufen, so dass durch Drehung der Räder der ganze Kopf aus oder in die Trommel gebracht werden kann.
