   Im Stammpatente Nr. 64786 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines   Krehsheifmittets   in Form eines Extraktes beschrieben. Dieses Extrakt wird dadurch gewonnen, dass   man   Tiere m an sich bekannter Weise mit   Röntgenstrahlen   behandelt, worauf mit Hilfe des Blutserums aus ihren inneren Organen, namentlich der   liez,   den Nebenmeren und dem Knochenmark dieser Tiere ein Extrakt bereitet wird, das genuin oder nach weiterer Behandlung zu therapeutischen Zwecken geeignet ist. 



   Es   lässt   sich nun ebenfalls ein therapeutisch wertvolles ähnlich wirkendes Toxin ererhalten, wenn man die Tiere statt der Röntgenbestrahlung in an sich gleichfalls bekannter Weise der Radium- oder Thoriumbestrahlung unterwirft und des weiteren ebenso verfährt, wie bei dem Verfahren des Stammpatentes. Werden z. B.   Kaninchen in f'inem   Käfig gehalten, der in seiner Fitste eine Radiumkapsel mit 20 mg Radium trägt, oder in einem Käfig in einen mit Radiumemanation gefüllten Raum gebracht. so gehen die Tiere nach 3 bis 4 Wochen ein, nachdem sie in der Zwischenzeit die verschiedensten Krankheits-
