Dabei werden jedoch unabhängig von der Kolbenstellung die Dichtungsbacken 9 einen dichten Abschluss zwischen dem Kolbenflügel und der Trommel herbeiführen.
Sobald der Kolben sich der in Fig. 1 gezeigten Lage wieder nähert und die zum Auslassventil 28 gehörige Öffnung wieder freigegeben hat, entströmt das hinter dem Kolben befindliche Betriebsmittel durch diese Öffnung und einen das Gehäuse 1 umschliessenden Kanal 35 ins Freie bzw. in einen Kondensator.
Soll die Umlaufrichtung des Kolbens geändert werden, so ist mittels des Handhebels der Schieber 25 umzustellen, wobei gleichzeitig das vorher geschlossene Auslassventil 27 geöffnet und das vorher offene Ventil 28 geschlossen wird.
