 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

The present invention relates to an improvement in steam engines with oscillating housings and rotating pistons, in which the steam channels are provided in the rotating piston and consists in that the piston is firmly connected on both sides with projections formed as hubs, the channels of which are firmly connected to those of the piston and at their mouth against the steam inlet and outlet pipes, slide valves are alternately opened and closed.

In the accompanying drawings, FIGS. 1 to 3 show the entire machine in view and section, FIGS. 4 to 8 show individual parts and FIGS. 9 to 12 show a modified embodiment of the machine.
 EMI1.2
the piston c rotates in a known manner. Firmly connected to the latter on both sides, the hubs n n 'are also seated on the shaft e, which carry the disks m laterally closing off the pendulum housing and are provided with channels o o' which are connected on the one hand to the piston bores k k 'and on the other hand in annular channels hh 'open into the outer housing and can be closed there by slide xx'.

The latter slide on the outer circumference of the hubs n M 'and are fastened to the housing at y z in such a way (FIGS. 4 and 5) that their attachments y are secured against displacement by two stops z. On the other hand, the steam supply and discharge pipes n u ', which open into the cylinder s, are connected to the annular channels A. The esophagus u and the exhaust it are connected to the latter and a slide t is provided for the purpose of reversing.

In the position of the machine shown in Fig. F), the steam flows through the pipe M 'to the annular channel 11', enters the channel o 'of the hub n' and passed through the piston bores k 'and l' into the interior j of the pendulum housing, there by expansion causing the piston to rotate. During the same time flows
 EMI1.3
passed through the tube n to the exhaust w. As a result of the rotation, the slides cover;. 1) periodically the steam channels o and o'ab and thus cause an automatic
 EMI1.4

A modified embodiment of the machine with a labile pendulum is illustrated in FIGS. 9 to 12, which works in the same way as the one described above.
