Alarm- und Feuermeldeapparat.
Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Kontaktapparat für eine Alarm-und Feuer- meldevorrichtung.
Der Apparat besteht aus einer unten offenen metallischen Hülse 1, die durch das
Kabel 2 mit dem Alarmapparat und der Batterie in Verbindung steht. Ein zweites Kabel 10 für den anderen Pol der Stromquelle, das durch den Htilsenverschluss 3 und durch den
Hohlraum der metallischen Hülse geführt ist, steht in metallischer fester und elektrisch leitender Verbindung mit einer Hülse 4, die bei der geringsten Erschütterung an den Rand 5 der metallischen Hülse 1 schlägt und dadurch einen Stromschluss herbeizuführen vermag, Wodurch eine Alarmglocke auf kurze oder längere Zeit in Tätigkeit gesetzt werden kann.
An dem Halse 6 der Hülse 1 sitzt eine durch den Hülsenverschluss 3 unter Spannung stehende Spiralfeder 8.
Um eine Verschiebung dieses Hülsenverschlusses 3 durch die Spiralfeder zu ver- hindern ist der Innenraum der Hülse 7 oberhalb des Hülsenverschll1sses mit einer leicht schmelzbaren Masse 9 (wie Wachs, Stearin usw.) ausgefüllt.
Wird nun der Kontaktapparat etwas angewärmt (wie etwa durch die Flammen eines ausgebrochenen Feuers), dann kommt die Masse 9 zum Schmelzen, wodurch der Hülsen- verschluss 3 gelockert wird. Die Spiralfeder 8 hebt nun den Hülsenverschluss und zieht das an diesem Verschlüsse befestigte Kabel etwas nach aussen, wodurch die Hülse 4 in
Kontakt mit der Hülse 1 zwecks Erzielung eines Stromschlusses tritt, worauf dip klinge zum Tönen kommt.
