or other buildings are now almost without exception cleaned with hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, caustic soda, etc. using huge amounts of water. This ordinary cleaning requires much labor and time and is therefore not cheap. Then the cleaning itself is very incomplete, since it is difficult to do with the above means, e.g. B. to completely eliminate the rust or tar, which over time becomes oeineating. The

the folds and, in some cases, also attack the metal borders and dry immediately when exposed to heat.
All these shortcomings are eliminated when using the liquid which is the subject of the present invention.
This liquid, which is suitable for cleaning glass roofs, arc lamp bells, factory windows, etc., contains sulfuric acid and aqueous extracts of saponin-containing plants, such as Quilläja, as well as copper sulphate, for the purpose of coppering existing metal parts and putty folds and thereby preventing the acid from attacking protect.
The use of sulfuric acid to clean dirty glass is known. It is also known to use aqueous extracts of saponin-containing plants, such as Quillaja or the like, in a manner similar to soap as a foam-forming and cleaning agent. However, the joint use of both agents results in a liquid which attacks metals due to the acid content. To prevent this, copper sulfate is added according to the present invention, which has the effect that the metals and putty folds that come into contact with the liquid experience a weak copper plating and thus a certain protection against acid. The liquid has an intensive dissolving effect on the dirt and does not dry out, which is particularly advantageous when it is very hot.
A particular advantage of the new cleaning liquid is that it can be cleaned without intensive nacbapü! can be done.
