Incandescent lamp for liquid fuels, in particular for petroleum.
The present invention relates to an incandescent lamp for liquid fuels, in particular for petroleum, and consists in the fact that the evaporator consists of two tubes that touch each other over their full length, of which the tube through which the fuel flows last touches the mixing tube, but the other one radially outside the the former, i.e. located away from the mixing tube, for the purpose of gradually causing the heating and evaporation of the fuel as it flows through the gasifier and thus preventing liquid fuel from being carried away by the gases.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown, for example, namely: Fig. 1 shows the G! ühlicbt! ampe in vertical section, Fig. 2 is a horizontal section along the line A-A of Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 is a partial side view.
The liquid fuel, predominantly petroleum, is fed through a pipe 1 to which a filter pipe 2 is connected, which is connected to the gasifier 3. The latter consists of two pipes in full length contacting each other? 5, of which only the pipe through which the fuel flowed last touches the mixing pipe 6, but the other one is arranged radially outside the former, that is to say away from the mixing pipe.
Because the two carburetor tubes are arranged at different distances from the mixing tube, the fuel first enters the outer tube, which is not very warm from the heat emitted by the mixing tube, and only then enters the inner tube that is in direct contact with the mixing tube, which causes gradual heating and a uniform, complete gasification of the fuel is achieved and liquid fuel is prevented from being carried away by the gases.
The upper ends of the tubes 15 are inserted into a cast body 74. The tubes 15 are closed at the top by screws 13.
The air is supplied through two pipes 19 opening at the height of the nozzle 5 from both sides. The burner 10 is seated at the lower end of the mixing pipe 6 and the incandescent body 11 hangs below it.
The lamp is carried by an arm (not shown in the drawing) which encloses the tube 2 by means of a sleeve or the like. A ring ss rests on the side of the sleeve on the tube 2, which is combined with the lamp housing 8 in the manner of a bayonet lock by means of pins 20 firmly seated on it, while the cap 12 rests loosely on the ring. The housing Ci also carries a ring-shaped preheating shell 7 and a pouring funnel 21.
The cleaning of the evaporator is done in the following way: The cap 12 is lifted off, the ring 9 is removed after a short rotation and the housing 8 with the gas bell is removed downwards. With these three movements, the lamp is dismantled without any screwing. Now the screws 13 can be loosened and the straight evaporator tubes 15 can be cleaned very easily with an instrument.
