<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

The invention relates to a soffit connection profile for components adjacent to plaster, in particular for window or door frames, with a sealing leg, which has a plaster removal surface and can be fastened to the component with a sealing tape, and an essentially normal to the sealing plane of the
Sealing leg arranged, anchored in the plaster fastening leg.
DE 297 07 804 U1 discloses a soffit connection profile for plaster or spatula connections to adjacent components, for example to the frames of windows or doors, the sealing leg of which is sealed off from the adjacent component only by protruding sealing lips. In the absence of a firm connection between the fastening leg and the adjacent component, it cannot be prevented that dirt and moisture penetrate between the sealing leg and the component, particularly after a long period of inactivity, and that there is no permanent water and windproofness between the component and the facade is.
Furthermore, DE 42 29 080 A1 discloses a soffit connection profile for plaster connections on a window frame, the sealing leg of which is glued to the window frame by means of a self-adhesive sealing compound. The connection profile according to DE 42 29 080 A1 has a strip-shaped protective flap on the side facing away from the house wall, which is supported on the window frame by means of a spacer and can be separated from the reveal connection profile along a predetermined breaking point. The protective flap is used to fasten a film with which the window sash can be covered during the plastering work. After plastering, the protective flap can be separated along the predetermined breaking point, after which the sealing compound becomes visible and is exposed to the weather.
DE 200 11 013 Ul describes a soffit connection profile which is connected to a component with a self-adhesive sealing tape. In order to protect the sealing tape against the effects of the weather, an elastic sealing lip is provided in front, which is pressed obliquely forward, for example the support strip for a roller shutter, in the area of a predetermined breaking point for a film fastening leg. After a relatively short service life, the sealing lip differs in color from the component or the facade, which interferes with the visual appearance. Furthermore, the tight ventilation to the component hinders the ventilation of the profile or the drying out of condensate.
The object of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to create a soffit connection profile with which, on the one hand, a permanent
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
seal between plaster or spatula connections and the adjacent components can be achieved and on the other hand condensation can be largely avoided.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the sealing leg has a preferably co-extruded cover strip which largely covers the gap between the seal leg and the component, the width of the cover strip being slightly smaller than the thickness of the sealing tape, so that in the installed state of the reveal connection profile The ventilation gap between the cover strip and the component remains free. The cover strip can be designed both as a co-extruded flexible lip and as a hard lip (hard PVC, etc.). For example, a double-sided adhesive tape can be used as the sealing tape, which, depending on the application, has a width of, for example, 8 mm to 15 mm and a thickness of 1 mm to 3 mm.
The sealing tape ensures permanent sealing to the component, the cover strip, which is preferably located at a distance from the sealing tape and leaves a gap to the component when installed, ensures a visually harmonious appearance and the necessary ventilation of the profile.
In order to further increase the visual appearance, it is provided that the cover strip is essentially normal to the sealing plane of the sealing leg and is arranged offset to the rear with respect to the plaster extraction surface.
When installed, the cover strip is thus set back towards the reveal in relation to the plaster surface, so that the cover strip is surmounted by the plaster extraction surface of the reveal connection profile.
According to a further development of the invention, it is provided that the plaster extraction surface is formed by a plaster leg which is oriented essentially parallel to the fastening leg, with the opposing surfaces of the fastening leg and the plaster leg being ribs, grooves, undercuts or steps for anchoring in the Have plaster.
A particularly advantageous embodiment provides that a locking device for a plaster reinforcement tape is formed on the side of the sealing leg opposite the sealing tape, the locking device being designed, for example, as a clamping bracket.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to drawings.

Oblique view and FIG. 5 a second and FIG. 6 a third embodiment variant of the reveal connection profile in a representation according to FIG. 3.
In the exemplary embodiments, functionally identical components are provided with the same reference symbols.
The reveal connection profile 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 is used for components 10 adjacent to plaster 11, in particular for window or door frames (see FIG. 4).
The soffit connection profile 1 has a sealing leg 2 which can be fastened to the component 10 using a sealing tape 3 (e.g. double-sided adhesive tape). A fastening leg 4 oriented essentially normal to the sealing leg 2 serves for anchoring in the plaster 11. The sealing leg 2 has a plaster removal surface 5 at the end facing away from the reveal, which is designed as a plaster leg 6 and is oriented essentially parallel to the fastening leg 4 , The fastening leg 4 and the plaster leg 6 form, with part of the sealing leg 2, an essentially U-shaped structure which serves to receive the reinforcing compound or the noble plaster.
The sealing leg 2 has a preferably co-extruded cover strip 7, which largely covers the gap between the sealing leg 2 and component 10, the width b of the cover strip 7 being slightly smaller than the thickness d of the sealing strip 3, so that in the installed state of the soffit connection profile 1, a ventilation gap s between the end of the cover strip 7 and the component 10 remains free.
The cover strip 7 is oriented essentially normal to the sealing plane of the sealing leg 2 and is offset to the rear by a distance a with respect to the plaster extraction surface 5, so that the covering strip 7 is protruded from the front end of the sealing leg 2 and thus visually appealing appearance is created. The cover strip 7 is arranged at a short distance from the sealing tape 3.
The mutually opposite surfaces of the fastening leg 4 and the plaster leg 6 have ribs or grooves 8, which serve to better anchor the reinforcing compound or plaster 11. On the side of the sealing leg 2 opposite the sealing band 3, a locking device 14 for a plaster reinforcement band 15, for example a reinforcement grid, is formed. The locking device 14 can for example - as shown in Fig. 2 in detail - be designed as a clamp.
4 shows the installation situation of the soffit connection profile 1 according to FIGS. 1 to 3. Following the masonry 12, two layers of insulation 13 can be seen, the sealing leg 2 being inserted between component 10 and one of the layers of insulation 13. The plaster reinforcement band 15 lies on the two
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
th insulation layer 13 and is covered by a reinforcing compound or the plaster layer 11.
The soffit connection profile 1 has, in a known manner, a detachable protective leg 16, which is supported on the component 10 with the aid of at least one spacer web 17 and has a double-sided adhesive tape 18 on the side facing away from the component 10 for receiving a cover film. According to the invention, at least one web 20 for guiding a smoothing trowel 21 can be arranged on the side of the protective leg 16 facing away from the component 10, which bridge 20 facilitates the removal of the fine plaster in the embodiment variant shown in FIG. 6. After the plastering work has been carried out, the protective limb 16 can be severed along a predetermined breaking line 19.
The embodiment variant of a reveal connection profile 1 shown in FIG. 5 has undercuts 9 on the mutually opposite surfaces of the fastening leg 4 and the plaster leg 6 in addition to the ribs and grooves 8, in order to improve the anchoring in the plaster 11 or in the reinforcing compound.
