  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Hauben an   Gel ndersiiulen   aus 1-, T-,   U-oder L-Eisen.   



   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren, um Geländersäulen aus 1-,   T-,   oder L-Eisen an ihrem oberen Ende mit einer sie abdeckenden Haube zu versehen. 



   Bei   I- ode #=Eisen   (wie solche in Fig. 1   b und l   c dargestellt sind), wird beispielsweise das obere Ende a'des Steges a so ausgeschnitten oder ausgestanzt, dass das neue Ende all des Steges eine gewölbte Form aufweist ; es kann dieses Ende auch vieleckig ausgeschnitten werden, was jedoch nicht zweckmässig ist. Wesentlich ist, dass die beiden freigelegten Flanschen b', b' zusammen dieselbe Länge aufweisen, wie das neue Stegende   o   (Fig. 1). Hierauf werden sie auf letzterer   niedergebogen, so dass   sie den Steg a vollständig abdecken. Die hiebei aneinanderstossenden Stirnflächen b"der Flanschenenden werden vorteilhaft zusammengeschweisst (Fig. 1 a). 



   Bei T-oder L-Eisen (wie solche in Fig.   2b   und 2c dargestellt sind), wird hingegen der Steg c viel tiefer ausgeschnitten (Fig. 2, c'), weil nur ein Flansch   d   vorhanden ist, dessen freigelegtes Ende d'die Länge des Stegendes   eil aufweisen muss. Auch   in diesem Falle ist der Steg c nach dem Niederbiegen des Flansches d'vollkommen abgedeckt (Fig. 2 a).

   The subject of the invention is a method for providing railing columns made of 1, T or L iron at their upper end with a hood covering them.



   In the case of Iode # = iron (such as those shown in FIGS. 1 b and 1 c), for example the upper end a 'of the web a is cut out or punched out in such a way that the new end of all of the web has a curved shape; this end can also be cut out polygonally, but this is not practical. It is essential that the two exposed flanges b ', b' together have the same length as the new web end o (FIG. 1). Then they are bent down on the latter so that they completely cover the web a. The abutting end faces b ″ of the flange ends are advantageously welded together (FIG. 1 a).



   In the case of T or L irons (as shown in Fig. 2b and 2c), however, the web c is cut out much deeper (Fig. 2, c '), because there is only one flange d, the exposed end d' must be the length of the end of the web. In this case too, the web c is completely covered after the flange d has been bent down (FIG. 2 a).

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: Method for producing hoods on balustrade columns on I, T, U or L iron, characterized in that the web is cut out at the end of the column in such a way that both exposed flanges together or the exposed flange have the length of the web end, whereupon by bending down both flanges or the flange on the web of the latter is completely covered.
