Speech machines, in particular for dictation purposes.
The invention relates to a disengagement device for the phonogram carrier of speech and dictation machines, in which the belt which drives the pickup roller and which is set in motion by a motor is disengaged in such a way that the disk on which it runs is disengaged from Motor shaft is decoupled.
This device has the great advantage that, as in previous designs, the pulley on the phonogram carrier is not disengaged with the aid of a claw clutch or the like and the pulley runs idle. This construction is much heavier and causes a rasping noise in the listener. In addition, the new design is much simpler and cheaper to manufacture. In addition, there is the lower power consumption with an electric motor drive, since the heavy belt pulley and the associated parts that transmit the rotation to the Pbonogram carrier stand still.
The drawing shows in Fig. 1 a front view of the engine with the release device in the engaged state; Figure 2 is a bottom plan view of the release clutch; Figure 3 is the release lever; 4 to 6 are individual representations of the coupling parts (z is the motor, b the motor shaft, on which the pulley c sits loosely, which can be pushed back and forth on the shaft b by a lever d (Fig. 3).
A pulley e is attached to the pulley c, while a fixed pulley f is located on the motor shaft. The two disks e and f have driver pins g and h; in the engaged state, the pins g and h lie against one another, so that the pulley c is carried along by the rotating shaft b and the phonogram carrier is set in rotation by the belt i.
EMI1.1
With the help of a pneumatic or mechanical trigger, the lever k on the frame of the machine is pressed down: the corresponding angle lever 1 then moves to the left and, with the help of the rod m, presses the lever d to the left. This takes the pulley c with it and therefore disengages it. The rods lie in a sleeve fixed to the frame a. A spring s, which presses against a collar of the rod m, keeps the clutch in the engaged state.
In order to stop the phonogram carrier immediately in the disengaged state, a pin p is arranged on the pulley e of the pulley c, which is against a fixed contact. Impact q strikes and thus the belt pulley c stops immediately. The stop q is arranged on a fixed disk r on the fixed sleeve n.
