PATENT CLAIM: Broach with inserted MC & 80rn adjustable by a centrally displaceable cone, characterized in that the inclined clamping surfaces (23) on the inside of the knives (10) with the correspondingly bevelled end face (22) of a nut secured against rotation in the awl body (2) (19) cooperate, which latter is displaced by thread (18) in the longitudinal center of the adjusting cone (12) when the latter is turned, for the purpose of making the clamping of the knives independent of their radial setting.
