Ballonstof.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stoff, welcher insbesondere als Ballonstoff, dann aber auch zur Herstellung von Regenmänteln, Pneumatikreifen, Luftkissen, Bademützen, Schweiss- blättern, Betteinlagen usw. geeignet ist.
Dieser Stoff besteht in bekannter Weise aus Goldschlägerhaut, die gemäss der Er- findung. durch eine mit Kollodium und Rizinusöl versetzte Zelluioidlösung imprägniert ist.
Das in bekannter Weise mit Azeton gelöste Zelluloid wird z. B. auf 100 Gewichtsteile dieser Lösung mit zirka 5 Teilen Rizinusöl, 10 Teilen Amylazetat und 5 Teilen Kollodium innig gemischt und diese Mischung wird dann auf die Goldschlägerhaut aufgestrichen, wobei dieselbe von der Haut aufgesogen wird und derart mit letzterer eine vollkommene Verbindung eingeht.
Das in der Mischung enthaltene Zelluloid und Kollodium machen die Goldschlägerhaut in hohem Grade gas-und wasserdicht und das Rizinusöl erhält dieselbe dauernd weich und geschmeidig. Besteht die Goldschlägerhaut, wie bekannt, aus mehreren Schichten, so worden diese erfindungsgemäss durch eine Gelatinelösung unter Anwendung des üblichen Pressverfahrens fest miteinander verbunden.
Bei den bekannten Stoffen aus Goldschlägerhaut, die auf einer oder auf beiden Seiten mit einer Gowebeschicht überkleidet ist, wird die Geweheschicht nach vorliegender Erfindung durch die eingangs angeführte Zelluloidlösung befestigt.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Ballonstoff aus Goldschlägerhaut, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese durch eine mit Kollodium und Rizinusöl versetzte Zelluleidlösimg gas- und wasserdicht imprägniert ist.

The invention relates to a material which is particularly suitable as balloon material, but then also for the production of raincoats, pneumatic tires, air cushions, bathing caps, sweat sheets, bed liners, etc.
This material consists in a known way of gold bat skin, which according to the invention. is impregnated by a cellulose solution mixed with collodion and castor oil.
The celluloid dissolved in a known manner with acetone is z. B. to 100 parts by weight of this solution with about 5 parts of castor oil, 10 parts of amyl acetate and 5 parts of collodion intimately mixed and this mixture is then spread on the gold bat skin, the same is absorbed by the skin and thus forms a perfect connection with the latter.
The celluloid and collodion contained in the mixture make the gold bat skin to a high degree gas and water tight and the castor oil keeps it soft and supple. If, as is known, the gold bat skin consists of several layers, these are firmly connected to one another according to the invention by means of a gelatin solution using the usual pressing process.
In the case of the known fabrics made from gold bat skin, which is covered on one or both sides with a fabric layer, the fabric layer according to the present invention is attached by the celluloid solution mentioned at the beginning.
