Kondenewaeeerabtetter for steam heating.
In the known condensate drains for steam heating systems, the passage cross-section for the water is adjusted by a valve cone which is formed on a screwable plug. The latter has a hole through which steam is to escape when the cap is removed if steam is still escaping with the condensed water. These arresters have the disadvantage that the setting of the valve cannot be made quickly with the same and the size of the adjustment of the same cannot be seen; Another disadvantage is that it is not possible to determine with certainty whether steam is flowing out with the condensation water, because the latter always takes the shortest route and does not exit through the narrow hole in the stopper.
According to the present invention, the Rcgulicrorgan provided with a rotatable end sleeve is provided between the end sleeve and the outer jacket, in which the steam flowing with the condensed water enters in order to escape through a control opening when a cap is removed.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in Fig. 1 in longitudinal section, Fig. 2 shows a front view with the cap removed.
3 and 4 show the closure sleeve in horizontal section and in cross section, respectively.
The sleeve 2, which is closed at the end and which is advantageously stored in a sleeve 3, is inserted in the inflow connection 1. The sleeve 8 has a recess 4 in the jacket and is secured against rotation, while the sleeve 2 in the jacket is provided with a recess 5 and is rotatable. Both are through a cover plate 6 in the inflow
