Drum 3 built-in stuffing box 11, which clip after the inside of the drum to the shower 12 and the connection for the pressurized water supply pipe 13 is formed. In the management

equal to the cross section of the pressurized water supply pipe 13.
The water entering centrally into the Fijtermassewaschraum 15 through the shower 12 is distributed with vehemence evenly over the full cross-section of the room 15 by the pressure inherent in it, and with the assistance of the agitator 16 each water particle comes into strong and intimate contact with the filtermass to be cleaned, see above that a really effective flushing and cleaning of the filter material takes place and at the same time the dirty water that forms as a result of the cleaning is displaced towards the drainage side 2. The radiating effect of the shower head 12, which simultaneously sucks on the drainage side, also prevents particles of the filter material from getting between the agitator shaft 6 and its bearings and thereby giving rise to operational disruptions.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Filter mass washing device with a cleaning drum divided by a sieve partition into a cleaning and a dirty water collecting space, characterized. that in the dirty water collection chamber (1) an over or. Drain pipe (5) is arranged, whereby the cleaning drum (3) remains closed on all sides when the water level is always the same.
