Seit der Verwendung gezogener Wolframfäden zeigt es sich, dass bei unsanfter Behandlung solcher Lampen das Traggestell innerhalb der Lampe unbrauchbar wird, ohne d. tü der Faden selbst Schaden gelitten hätte. Der ganze grosse Effekt des widerstandsfähigen gezogenen Fadens wird dadurch illusorisch.
Nach vorliegender Erfindung wird zur Beseitigung dieses Übelstandes das Traggestell vollkommen aus Draht gefertigt. In der Zeichnung sind a und b zwei Drahtringe, die mit entsprechenden Einbuchtungen 1, 2, 3 usw. oder Häkchen zur Fixierung des Fadens versehen sind. Die beide Ringe sind durch eine oder mehrere (in der Zeichnung zwei) Drahtstücke c miteinander verbunden. Das Verbindungsstück kann auch spiralenförmig ausgebildet sein, wodurch die zwei Ringe a und b federnd miteinander verbunden sind.
Damit die Drahtringe nicht selbst an der Stromleitung teilnehmen, müssen sie an jenen Stellen, wo der Faden aufliegt, in geeigneter Weise isoliert sein, was in einfachster Weise durch einen Thoriumoxyd-Überzug bewerkstelligt wird.
Die Aufhängung des Fadens wird durch die geschilderte Anordnung ungemein elastisch. Ein Abbrechen der Tragstütze ist ausgeschlossen und alle die zahlreichen Un- zukömmlichkeiten, die sich aus den vielen Verbindungen zwischen Glas und Metall ergeben, sind vermieden.

According to the present invention, the support frame is made entirely of wire to eliminate this inconvenience. In the drawing, a and b are two wire rings which are provided with corresponding indentations 1, 2, 3, etc. or hooks for fixing the thread. The two rings are connected to one another by one or more (two in the drawing) pieces of wire c. The connecting piece can also be designed in a spiral shape, whereby the two rings a and b are resiliently connected to one another.
So that the wire rings do not take part in the power line themselves, they must be insulated in a suitable manner at those points where the thread rests, which is achieved in the simplest way by a thorium oxide coating.
The suspension of the thread is extremely elastic due to the described arrangement. Breaking off the support is impossible and all the numerous inconveniences that result from the many connections between glass and metal are avoided.
