Wachsüberzug. 



   Es ist bekannt, dass man zur Herstellung künstlicher   Laubblätter   Papier verwendet, das einseitig einen Wachsaufstrich besitzt. 



   Bis jetzt bestand aber der Nachteil, dass das Wachs auf die Gegenseite durchschlug und dadurch veranlasst, dass die dort befindlichen Klebstreifen, welche den Blattstiel halten sollen, absprangen. 



   Um diesen Nachteil zu beseitigen, wird gemäss vorliegender Erfindung das Papier vor dem Aufbringen des Wachses mit einer Masse präpariert, die   wachsundurchlässig   ist und mithin das Durchschlagen des Aufstriches nach der Gegenseite verhindert. 



   Das Verfahren wird beispielsweise folgendermassen ausgeführt :
Man nimmt das bekannte für   Kunstblätter   geeignete Papier und unterzieht es einer Präparierung. Zu diesem Zweck bereitet man eine Mischung aus den folgenden oder aus mit ihnen verwandten Stoffen : Gummi, Leim und für Wassermischung geeignetes Öl, wie z. B. Glyzerin. Von jedem nimmt man etwa ein Drittel des Ganzen. Die Mischung wird dann noch durch Wasserzusatz auf eine leicht streichbare Konsistenz gebracht und damit das Papier getränkt, das man dann trocknen lässt. Hierauf streicht man die gesondert   zugerichtete Wachsrnischung   einseitig auf das getränkte Papier auf. Die Tränkung lässt das Wachs   festhaften,   aber nicht durchschlagen.

   Up until now, however, there was the disadvantage that the wax penetrated to the opposite side, causing the adhesive strips located there, which are supposed to hold the petiole, to spring off.



   In order to eliminate this disadvantage, according to the present invention, before the wax is applied, the paper is prepared with a mass which is impermeable to wax and therefore prevents the spread from penetrating to the opposite side.



   The procedure is carried out as follows, for example:
The well-known paper suitable for artificial leaves is taken and subjected to a preparation. For this purpose, a mixture of the following or related substances is prepared: rubber, glue and oil suitable for mixing with water, e.g. B. glycerine. You take about a third of the whole of each. The mixture is then brought to an easily spreadable consistency by adding water and the paper is soaked with it, which is then allowed to dry. The specially prepared wax mixture is then spread on one side of the impregnated paper. The impregnation allows the wax to stick, but not penetrate.
