Device for exchanging thread systems in optical instruments.

Devices are known where, by rotating a drum, different thread systems are alternately brought into the image plane of the optical instrument and thereby made visible. These devices have the disadvantage that the adjustment of the thread systems is relatively difficult and also that the stability of the instrument, especially when the device is used for instruments that are exposed to strong vibrations, e.g. B. riflescopes, is less than when the thread systems are fixed.

According to the invention, these disadvantages are remedied by alternately bringing one or the other of two or more thread systems arranged one behind the other in the optical axis of the instrument to appear sharp in the image plane, with the others becoming invisible.
 EMI1.1
when using only two thread systems.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the two thread systems a and b are arranged stationary one behind the other, while the lens systems c and d can be axially displaced by means of the guides e and / '. In the position of the lens system c and d shown in Fig. 1, the thread system a appears sharp and the thread system b is invisible,
 EMI1.2
arranged stationary one behind the other, but there the appearance of one or the other of these in the image plane is achieved in that individual lenses or lens systems 9 are switched on or off in the beam path.

The embodiment according to FIG. 5 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 and 2 only in that, instead of the lens systems, the inner tube, in which the thread systems a and b are fixedly arranged, is axially displaced against the lens systems, so that

characterized in that one of the two or more thread systems arranged one behind the other in the optical axis of the instrument is made to appear sharp in the plane of the instrument. the rest of them remain invisible.
