Dutch bowl.
The subject of the invention is a bowl for all types of Dutch, such as mixing, grinding or bleaching belts, in which the cross-section of the flow and return channel tapers considerably downwards in all its parts, as far as possible with regard to the grinding mechanism . In the known Dutch bowls, the outer and middle walls are perpendicular or only slightly inclined to the floor and the circulation channels accordingly have a rectangular or U-shaped cross section. In these shapes, fabric easily settles on the bottom and the liquid moves more slowly near the bottom than above. As a result, the lower parts of the fabric will go through the grinder less often than the upper parts, and the fabric will be processed unevenly.
This drawback is eliminated by the invention in that the cross-section of the circulation channel is tapered too considerably downwards by inclining one or both side walls.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention in Fig. 1 in elevation, in Fig. 2 in plan and in Fig. 3 in cross section.
Both the outer walls a and the middle walls b of the Dutch bowl. which include the circulation caution. are inclined in such a way that they form a channel that tapers considerably downwards. whose edges are rounded to sharp angles. in which the substance could settle.
