Abstract

Es wird ein Rahmenverbreiterungselement zum Verbreitern eines Rahmens, insbesondere einer Tür oder eines Fensters, vorgeschlagen, bei dem eine erste Deckplatte (2), eine zweite Deckplatte (3), eine Dämmschicht (4) und ein Anschlussprofil (6) vorgesehen sind, wobei die eine Dämmschicht (4) und das Anschlussprofil (6) zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Deckplatte (2, 3) angeordnet sind. Das Anschluss­profil (6) umfasst eine erste Wandung (6.8) und eine davon beabstandete zweite Wandung (6.9), wobei die Wandungen (6.8, 6.9) derart angeordnet sind, dass sie zur Aufnahme einer oder mehrerer Rahmen-Befestigungsschrauben (40) geeignet sind. Darüber hinaus weist das Anschlussprofil (6) einen Anschlag (6.19; 6.20) zum Ausrichten des Rahmenverbreiterungselements (1) gegenüber dem Rahmen (30) auf. Das Anschlussprofil (6) weist zudem eine Dichtlippe (7) auf, die derart angeordnet ist, dass sie im montierten Zustand am Rahmen (30) dichtend anliegt.
