Der Mast ist als kleine Stange ausgeführt, die mit ihrem oberen Ende am Signalflügel drehbar befestigt ist und mit ihrem unteren auf dem Anker a eines Elektromagneten, ruht. 



   Ist der Elektromagnet stromlos, so steht der Signalmast in seiner tiefsten Stellung und der Flügel zeigt   auf #Halt" (Fig. 1). Wird   der Anker des Elektromagneten angezogen, so hebt er unmittelbar den Signalmast und stellt dadurch den Flügel   auf "Fahrt" (Fig.   2). 



   Dass der Signalmast selbst als Stange ausgeführt und   nicht bloss aufgemalt   ist, hat den Vorzug, dass man mit der geringsten Anzahl von Gelenken auskommt und dass das Signalbild deutlicher zu erkennen ist als hei bekannten Konstruktionen. Der Elektro-

 Points. A small sign can turn around A, B is the pivot point of a handlebar that engages the mast m. The mast is designed as a small rod which is rotatably attached to the signal wing with its upper end and rests with its lower end on the armature a of an electromagnet.



   If the electromagnet is de-energized, the signal mast is in its lowest position and the wing points to "stop" (Fig. 1). If the armature of the electromagnet is attracted, it immediately lifts the signal mast and thereby sets the wing to "drive" ( Fig. 2).



   The fact that the signal mast itself is designed as a pole and not just painted on has the advantage that it has the smallest number of joints and that the signal image can be seen more clearly than in known constructions. The electric
