Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines zum Kalteinbau geeigneten Asphaltbaustoffes für den Straßenbau, unter Verwendung einer grobkörnigen Hohlraum reichen Kaltasphaltmischung, die eine Mineralstaft­ körnung und ein Bitumenbindemittel zur umhüllenden Benetzung der Mineral- Stoffkörnung in einer wässrigen Emulsion aufweist, sowie eines Füllers für die Hohlräume, der von einem Mörtelgemisch gebildet wird. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, die festen Grundstoffe des Mörtelgemisches, umfassend ein Mörtel­ bindemittel und feinkörnigen gewaschenen Sand, mit der Kaltasphaltmischung ohne Beigabe von Zugabewasser zu vermischen, wobei der wässrigen Emulsion der Kaltasphaltmischung das Wasser durch das Mörtelbindemittel entzogen wird. Auf diese Weise wird ein kalt ausbringbarer und kalt einbaubarer Asphaltbaustoff gebildet, der eine im wesentlichen trockene und damit rieselfähige Konsistenz aufweist. Der neue Asphaltbaustoff kann direkt am Ort der Ausbringung hergestellt werden.
