Abstract

in Verfahren zum Herstellen von kompati-blen, selektiv hydrierten Blockcopolymer-modifizierten bituminösen Zusammensetzun­gen, umfassend Blasen eines Gemisches aus dem Blockcopolymer und Bitumen mit einem oxidierenden Gas bei Temperaturen von mindes­tens 375°F (190,56°C) für mindestens 75 Minuten. Das modifizie­rende Polymer ist ein selektiv hydriertes Styrol-Blockcopolymer und es ist kein Blaskatalysator erforderlich. Stabile bituminöse Zusammensetzungen, umfassend 6 bis 25 Gewichtsteile Blockcopoly­mer pro 100 Teile Asphalt werden ebenfalls vorgesehen, sowie ihre Anwendung als Dachschindeln.
