With the security door lock according to Austrian patent no. 21094, which is mainly intended for railroad cars, opening the lock from the inside is awkward because the inner handle has to be pushed vertically upwards to be able to turn it. In addition, the knob protruding into the interior of the car is impractical, which is why it has also been replaced in other known locks by hand levers that can be pivoted in a vertical plane. The present invention now relates to an improvement to one having a. such a hand lever equipped safety door lock, which aims to open the same by means of a slight deflection in the direction of the bolt movement.

This purpose is achieved in that, according to the invention, a lever which acts on the locking bolt and on the lock case is attached to the lever provided with the handle

 and thereby moves the latch.

In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown for example, namely: FIG. 1 shows an interior view in elevation of the closure in the rest position, FIG. 2 shows the same view in the open position and FIG. 3 shows a section along the line A-A in FIG.

pivotable. The pin 14 extends through an elongated hole 11 of the lever 7, which, usually under the action of a spring 2 (1, engages with a lug 13 in a detent 18 of the lock case. A two-armed lever 16 can be pivoted around the pin 15 on the lock case , which engages with a pin 17 in an elongated hole 12 of the lever 7. The upper arm dos

which can be opened from the outside with the help of the thumb 4 Iran 11.

To open the lock from the inside, the lever 7 is pulled diagonally upwards, whereby the stop 13 is first removed from the detent 18 and the lever 7 is then pivoted about the pin 14, the lever 16 being rotated about the pin 15 so that his upper arm pushes the locking bolt 1 back into the open position.
