Sloherung to TNfMhMlMm from AuteMobMen and the like.
The invention relates to a safeguard on door locks of automobiles and agi., Against accidental opening due to vibrations and friction of the latch on the striking plate edge while driving.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely Fig. 1 shows the inside view of a lock provided with the safety device and Fig. 2 shows its outside view from the bolt head, while Figs. 3 and 4 show the latch bolt in two different positions of its parts in perspective .
EMI1.1
Edge strip c having locking part b is widened upwards, against which the head end of locking part b rests, so that both parts together form a locking head of the usual shape.
As a result of this design, only the head end of the bolt part a touches the striking plate edge (not shown) retaining the closed bolt. Both locking parts a. b can be moved together both when opening and when closing the lock, as if they were rigidly connected to one another. The locking part a is under the action of the feed spring d and the locking part b is under the action of the feed spring e. These are the only two springs in the lock mechanism. The usual pressure is applied to the lock plate f by means of the pivot g
EMI1.2
so that he can pull back both parts at the same time when the lock is to be opened.
On the side facing the lock plate f, the corresponding recessed locking part a carries the pivot t of an angle lever, the shorter arm Mt of which protrudes into a cutout p of the locking part b, while the longer lever arm o projects into a cutout 11 of a slider r one that is in a cutout s the trap is straight in the vertical direction. The guide t of the rear end of the trap is designed as a stop u which protrudes into the path of the slide when it protrudes from the trap, as shown in FIG.
If the bolt part a is shifted a little into the interior of the lock case due to vibrations and friction of the latch on the striking plate edge while driving, the lever arm is pivoted downward in the direction towards the bolt head and the lever arm o accordingly. The latter moves the slider r downwards, so that this on the
