 EMI2.1
Extends lamellae, but leaves a space on those arms 11, whereby the aforementioned slots / 2 arise.

The needle holder is connected to the support plate by means of two flat springs 13, 13, which are held on the one hand in the slots 8 of the arms 7 of the needle holder by means of screws 14, and on the other hand in the slots 12 of the arms 11 of the support plate 9 by means of screws 15. The springs are for the most part clamped at both ends (Fig. -1), and only a small part of each is exposed, which is located between the arms 7 and 11. This exposed part of the springs 13, the length of which is equal to or smaller than the width of the springs in order to avoid torsional vibrations in the springs. lies in the plane of the membrane (Fig. 3) and forms the Sc. vibration axis for the Nadelbalter.

Because the axis of oscillation belongs to two resilient parts arranged on both sides of the needle holder, a significantly greater sensitivity is achieved.

The support plate 9 is attached to a shoulder 16 of the sound box housing 1 by means of screws 17 in such a way that the axis of vibration of the needle holder and the longitudinal axis of the part receiving the needle. 5 of the needle holder are in one plane with the membrane 2.

The springs 13 can be made as thin and flexible as desired, so that, on the one hand, the required sensitivity is achieved and, on the other hand, any undesired lateral movement of the needle holder is prevented.

PATENT CLAIMS: 1. Speech machine sound box, the needle holder of which is only held near its lower end by a flexible support arranged perpendicular to the membrane, characterized by this. that this support for the purpose of increasing the sensitivity of the needle holder and stiffening the same against lateral vibrations is divided so that its parts on different
Sides of the needle holder.
