  Saturateur for uninterrupted operation.

The object of the present invention relates to a saturator for interrupted operation, in which the mechanical energy accumulated in the incoming saturation gas is used to achieve a vigorous circulation of the juice, the gas being thoroughly mixed with the juice and being used as fully as possible becomes.

The drawing shows a twin system of saturation vessels of the first saturation according to the new principle mentioned, namely in FIG. 1 in elevation and section, in FIG. 2 in plan.

The raw juice mixed with milk of lime is fed into the saturator 1 through the pipe 2 via the regulator 3, which regulates the amount of juice to be added regardless of its level in the mixing devices. The tube 2 opens close to the testicle of the saturation vessel and higher than its mouth is the annular tube 4, which is provided with two rows of openings at the top. through which the gas exits. The gas is introduced into the pipe 4 through the line 5 --- 6.
 EMI1.1
The tube 4 stored under him is located approximately in the middle between him and the wall of the saturateurs. This ring cylinder also serves as a radiator.

The annular gas stream flowing in the vertical direction out of the tube 4 between the wall of the saturateur and the cylinder entrains both the juice exiting the tube 2 and the juice inside the cylinder 7 The space between the cylinder 7 and the wall of the saturator increases, while the liquid level inside the cylinder 7 decreases.

The juice flowing over the upper edge of the cylinder 7 returns to the bottom of the vessel.

In this way, a continuous vigorous cycle of the juice is brought about.
From the saturation vessel 1, the partially purified juice goes through the tube 12 into the second vessel 13, which is set up similarly inside and in which the saturation process is repeated in the same way as in the first vessel. The done
 EMI1.2
the outflowing juice can be viewed and a sample can be taken. The juice flows out of the collecting vessel 15 through the pipe 16 ′.
