Auf der Glasfläche wird das gewählte Muster, welches rot erscheinen soll, dick aus einer Mischung von Chlorsilber und gelber Erde modelliert, während der Fond, der grün werden soll, mit einer dünnen Mischung von Chlorsilber oder Silbernitrat und gelber Erde schwach bedeckt wird. Nun wird der Gegenstand gebrannt, nach dem Auskühlen abgewaschen und mit einer Mischung von etwa 3 Teilen Kupfervitriol und 1 Teil gelber Erde oder anderem Verdünnungsmaterial gleichm2ssig wieder überstrichen, zum zweiten Mal gebrannt und hierauf der Überzug durch Abwaschen entfernt. Auf diese Weise entsteht entsteht dort, wo die dünne Mischung von Chlorsilber und Silbernitrat aufgetragen wurde eine grüne, während dort, wo sich früher das dick aufgetragene Chlorsilber oder Subernitrat befand, eine rote Färbung.

Die zu dekorierenden Flächen werden mit einer halbkonzentrierten Chlorsilber- oder Kupfervitriolmischung bestrichen, sodann gebrannt und abgewaschen. Darauf werden mittels Druck oder photographischen Verfahren die gewünschten Bilder in Chlorsilber aufgetragen und eingebrannt. Das noch vorhandene Chlorsilber wird entfernet und der Dekor mit ge- färbtem oder farblosem Fluss überzegen oder poliert ; das gedruckte Muster erscheint klar in der Farbe des Ftussüborzuges.
Ausführungsbeispiel IV.
Chlorsilber oder Silbernitrat mit Wismutnitrat und 2 bis 3 Teilen gelber Erde oder Ockor gemischt, wird mittels Pinsel oder Schwamm recht ungleichmässig stark aufgetragen, unter Freilassen kleiner Flecken eingebrannt und abgewaschen ; hierauf wird die ganze Fläche mit Kupfervitriol oder auch anderen Metallsalzen (zirka 2 Teile zu 1 Teil Erde) überzogen und wieder gebrannt.
