Die Erfindung betrifft abnehmbare Magazine für Schusswaffen. Zweck der Erfindung ist, ein Magazin zu schaffen, das eine grosse Anzahl von Patronen, beispielsweise 80-100 oder mehr aufnehmen und sie in befriedigender Weise der Kammeröffnung der Waffe zuführen kann. Ein Magazin dieser Art ist notwendig, wenn es, wie heutzutage oft, erforderlich ist, dass ein heftiges und andauerndes Feuer durch schnellfeuernde Schusswaffen aufrecht erhalten werden soll ; denn mit Hilfe der üblichen, in den Verschluss eingebauten und 5-8 Patronen enthaltenden Magazine ist es nicht möglich, ein derartiges Feuer herbeizuführen, und wenn man solche Magazine grosser machen würde, würden sie in solchem Masse aus der Waffe hinausragen, dass diese im Felde nicht anwendbar wären.
Das Magazin gemäss der Erfindung ist dazu eingerichtet, an der Waffe in dem Augenblick befestigt zu werden, in dem das Feuern beginnt und hat die Form eines trommelförmigen, mit einer drehbaren federbelasteten Zubringervorrichtung versehenen Behälters, der imstande ist, mehr als eine Umdrehung auszuführen, so dass zunächst eine äussere Reihe und danach eine oder mehrere darauffolgende Reihen der im Behälter enthaltenen und ihn in aufeinanderfolgenden Reihen um dessen Mittelpunkt anfüllenden Patronen nach der Kammeroffnung vorgeführt werden.
