  Ununterbrochen wirkende Schleudermaschine.

  Uninterrupted centrifugal machine.

The object of the invention relates to an uninterrupted centrifugal machine for separating the molasses from the supplied sugar filling mass in the cavity of a double-walled bell and essentially consists in designing this bell in such a way that the centrifugal arrows are extremely effective and the sugar is kept in a completely dry state becomes.

This effect is achieved in that the outer jacket of the centrifugal bell is only partially perforated, and only at the lower edge, while the plate forming the inner wall of the bell is shaped in such a way that only the lower edge of the bell pierces one of its two walls, forms a narrow canal which leads inwards into a larger one. Chamber opens.

In the drawing, the centrifugal machine is illustrated in section.

The shaft S is driven by an electric motor M, for example, within the centrifuge housing. On the spindle S a plate t forming the inner wall of the Schleudergl, ocke is attached, to which the outer bell cover c is connected by struts i. The cavity formed by the two walls t and c is comb-like in the middle (b) and ends at the lower end of the bell in an annular channel A, the outer and inner walls of which are equipped with openings o for the purpose of ample air supply. A pipe socket a stored in the bearing 1 is connected to the bell cover c, through which the filling compound is continuously passed into the chamber o.

The centrifuged molasses collects in a channel kl arranged on the housing drum 9 and is through the. Port 01 drained.

This centrifugal machine works as follows:
The filling compound, which was passed into the narrow channel k, is immediately thrown and the dry sugar moves the narrow channel k, as indicated in the drawing, since it adheres to the walls c and t due to the existing centrifugal force. The filling compound, which flows in continuously, collects in the large chamber b and gradually pushes the dry sugar out of the channel k, whereby the filling compound itself enters channel k and is thrown as the dry sugar is displaced. The dry sugar is then withdrawn from the channel m.

With this centrifugal machine, sugar and molasses are mixed through the holes o the channel walls only at the beginning of the work. However, once the holes are covered with dry xucker, the most effective way of separating the molasses from the sugar is that the latter is pressed out of the channel k in a completely dry state, while the molasses collects in the channel k.
