  Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Sauerstoff durch Verbrennung pulverförmiger sauerstoffabgebender Mischungen. 



   Die Erfindung betrifft ein \'erfahren und die zu seiner Ausführung   dienende'Einrichtung   zur Erzeugung von Sauerstoff durch Verbrennung pulverförmiger Mischungen aus Chloraten, Perchloraten, Nitraten usw. einerseits und die Verbrennung unterhaltenden Stoffen (z. B. Kohle) anderseits. 



   In manchen Fällen wird die Verbrennung derartiger Stoffe im Innern einer   unverbrcnn-   baren Hülle. z. B. aus Asbest, bewirkt, in welche die zu verbrennenden   Stoffe zwecks Sauerstoff-

 Kartuschen bedingt wird. 



   Nach dem Verfahren vorliegender Erfindung wird die Verbrennung der   sauerstoffabgebenden

 das sauerstoffabgebende Material in unmittelbarer Berührung mit der   Metallwandung steht.   



  Man vermeidet auf diese Weise,   daH   sich längs der   metallischen Wandungen ein heiüer Sauer-     stoffstrom   bildet, der die besagten Wandungen verbrennen konnte. 



   Die auf der Zeichnung dargestellte Kartusche besteht aus einer Büchse a, z.   H.   aus Weissblech. die in Form eines nach der Linie b zusammengefalzten, aber nicht gelöteten Zylindermantels hergestellt sein kann. Der untere Teil der Büchse a ist mit einem nach innen gerichteten Rande c versehen, auf   welchem ein gelochtes   Blech d ruht. Die Kartusche kann durch einen absperrbaren Boden e und durch einen   Decket/geschlossen werden,   die sich einfach über den Zylindermantel legen. Zwecks Füllung der Kartusche wird zunächst das durchlochte   Blech d ! in die Büchse   a eingelegt, der Boden c über den unteren Teil der Büchse gestülpt und danach die brennbare
