  Dachbinder.

  Roof trusses.

The subject of the present invention is an improvement in roof trusses, the rafters of which are connected in a known manner by inclined double clamps bolted at the intersection; According to the improvement, the double tongs engage in the upper third of the rafters and special struts engage in the intersection of these double tongs, which are attached to the latter with their other ends in the lower third of the rafters, whereby the rafters are supported and consequently the strength of the same and of the entire roof truss is increased. Roof truss is increased.

The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention in FIG. 1 in cross section and in FIG. 2 in longitudinal section with partial side view. At a distance of about 1 m, wooden roof trusses constructed entirely for themselves and bearing a corresponding weight have been arranged, the upper parts of which offer direct support for the roofing and the battens or cladding boards. Each roof truss consists of the rafters A, C and the double clamps B and D. Each of these double clamps consists of two boards or posts, the ends of which enclose the sparron A and C on both sides.

The lower ends of the double tongs are connected by screws to the lower ends of the rafters A and C at points 81 and 82, while the upper ends engage in the upper thirds of the opposing rafters at points n., N. In the Krenznngpunkt o the double tongs are connected by means of a screw and on this latter the struts Fund G are supported, which are attached with their other ends in the lower thirds at the points t'1 and r2 of the rafters. This makes the rafters

whole roof truss increased. At the points n1 and nan where the double tongs attack the sparron, the rafters are stiffened by a horizontal strut E.

So that the individual girders cannot fall to the side, timber or boards K are used where necessary, which are nailed or screwed to the racks A, C at an angle to the wall bench. The individual roof trusses rest
