  Verfahren zur Denitrierung und Wiedergewinnung der Nitrierungssäure. 



   Vorliegende Erfindung gründet sich auf die Feststellung, dass die aus der Verbrennung des Luftstickstoffes herrührenden warmen Gase viel besser als heisse Luft, die z.   B. i. ai   der Nitrierung von Glyzerin, von Zellulose, von aromatischen Verbindungen abfallenden Nitrierungssäuren denitriert und man hiebei eine vollkommen klare Schwefelsäure von   98"/o   erhalten kann. 



   Dieses Ergebnis, welches der Anwesenheit von NO in derartigen Gasen zuzuschreiben ist, wird noch von einem anderen, sehr vorteilhaften Ergebnis begleitet, welches darin besteht, dass das synthetisch gebildete NO sich viel leichter und besser kondensieren lässt ; denn die Salpeter-und salpetrige Säure der wiedergewonnenen Säuren oxydieren das NO

   Das Verfahren kann mit Hilfe eines Systems von zwei Apparaten (z. B. von 2 Türmen oder 2 Turmreihen) in der Weise   ausgeführt worden, dass   die warmen Luftverbrennungsgase den ersten Turm von aussen erwärmen und dann durch das Innere des zweiten Turmes hindurchgehen. In dem unteren Teil dieses Turmes oder Apparates gewinnt man   konzentrierte Schwefelsäure   und in dem oberen Teil entwickeln sich die nitrosen Gase,

Das beschriebene Verfahren ermöglicht der Nitrierungs-Industrie, Salpetersäure durch Synthese selbst in den   Fällt,     zu gewinnen,   in welchen dieses Verfahren an sich zu kostspieling soin würde. Der Verbrauch an Schwefelsaure würde so fast auf Null reduziert und nur   auf die Verluste beschränkt.
