Abstract
A device for absorption of oxygen and/or etheric medicaments via the nose, comprises two arms (3) which can be introduced into the nasal cavities, the arms having a widened application section inside the nose cavities (i.e. sides of the nose) and a second joint application section for application to the nasal septum (1). A device for absorption of oxygen and/or etheric medicaments via the nose comprises two arms (3) which can be introduced into the nasal cavities, the arms having a widened application section inside the nose cavities (i.e. sides of the nose) and a second joint application section for application to the nasal septum (1). The two arms (3) and joint section (4) have through axial channels, where the channel in the joint section can take a tampon (5) steeped in etheric substances.
Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to a device for receiving oxygen and / or ethereal healing substances via the nose. This consists of two insertable into the nostrils arms, which are connected via a further transverse section outside the nose, both arms each have a widened contact area for engagement with the inside of the respective nasal wing and a second investment area for engagement with the nasal septum around the To fix device as a nose clip on the nose, as described in AT 411323 B.
US Pat. No. 3,460,533 A (C.Riu Pla) describes a nasal spreader for expanding the nasal openings, which can be connected to respiratory heads and a breathing tube. This arrangement is unsuitable to introduce essential healing substances in the airways.
No. 4278082 A (R.Blackmer) shows a nasal cannula, the two open tube ends of which can be adjusted by means of a deformable element connecting the two ends. Also, this device is not very suitable to convey ethereal healing substances in the respiratory tract, although it is well suited to supply oxygen.
On the other hand, it is possible in a simple manner via the device according to the invention to supply healing substances in vapor form and / or oxygen to nasal respiration or to the airways.
It is even possible to supply all medicinal substances mobile (eg on the way) to nasal breathing. Likewise, this device could replace the currently used oxygen sets (clinics), which are attached with two outlets over the ears.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that both arms of the device (nose clip) and the connecting section have continuous, axially extending channels, wherein the channel located in the connecting section serves to receive a pad impregnated with ethereal substances. Furthermore, the connecting portion may be formed outside grooved in the region of one of the two openings to serve as a nipple for an example oxygen-conducting hose.
Thus, it is the object of the invention to supply oxygen and healing substances of the etheric kind simultaneously via nasal breathing to the airways. Through such a targeted intake, it is possible with minimal amounts of substances to carry out a maximum use of the remedies. Thus, a carrier medium with great mobility and high efficiency is realized.
FIG. 1 shows the device according to the invention in the form of a nose clip for the tampon receptacle in the connecting section from the front. The nasal septum is referred to as (1) and the nasal leaflets as (2). The two arms (3) of the device are based as described on the nostril walls and are connected via the connecting portion (4). In the air channel of the connecting portion (4), a tampon (5) is indicated.
In Figure 2, the variant is shown as oxygen supply. Here is an opening of the connecting portion outside with a corrugation (6) equipped, over which an oxygen-leading hose can be slipped.
