Claims (2)
1. Gleiche Bezugszeichen bedeuten in beiden Figuren gleiche Einzelheiten.
The same reference symbols in both figures mean the same details.
A combustion chamber 1 is delimited by walls 2 in the form of a double jacket, a base 3 connected to them and a cover 4 also connected to the walls 2.
The cover is provided with an exhaust opening 5 through which fuel gases can be drawn into a chimney, not shown.
The bottom 3 is penetrated by a centrally arranged tube 6 provided for the supply of combustion air. This tube 6 is connected to an air line 7, in which a control flap 8 is arranged, which is provided with an actuator 9.
The tube 6 is closed at its free end projecting into the combustion chamber and has bulges 10 on its cylindrical wall.
These bulges 10 are substantially sawtooth-shaped in a horizontal section, one boundary 11 of which extends essentially radially.
Outflow openings 12, which are oval or rectangular, are arranged in these radial boundaries 11. From these outflow openings 12, as shown in FIG.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
2 it can be seen that combustion air jets 13 are essentially tangential.
The tube 6 further penetrates in the region of the base 3 a fuel chamber 14 which is arranged below the base 3 and is delimited by the latter. The fuel chamber 14 has a larger diameter than the tube 6 and is connected to a fuel line 16.
The bottom 3 of the combustion chamber 1 is penetrated in the area of the fuel chamber 14 by nozzles 15 which are arranged in the immediate vicinity of the pipe 6 and are distributed over the circumference and allow fuel to flow into the combustion chamber 1.
When the burner is operating, fuel flows into the combustion chamber 1 via the fuel line 16, the fuel chamber 14 and the nozzles 15. At the same time, combustion air flows through the air line 7 into the tube 6 and through its outflow openings 12 in the form of tangential jets 13 into the combustion chamber 1. There the fuel mixes with the combustion air and forms a combustible mixture which is ignited and burned with an ignition device, not shown.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
This results in a very intimate and homogeneous mixing with the fuel due to the relatively narrow combustion air jets and their length due to the tangential orientation, so that there is very good combustion and therefore only low CO emissions.
The fuel gases give off their heat to the walls 2, 3, 4 through which a heat-absorbing medium flows and flow out through the exhaust opening 5.
Claims:
1. burner with separate supply of fuel and combustion air into a combustion chamber (1), in which a central pipe (6) provided with outflow openings (12) for the supply of air and arranged near the circumference of the pipe (6) for the supply of fuel, a
Nozzles (15) penetrating the wall of the combustion chamber (1) are provided, characterized in that the outflow openings (12) of the tube (6) provided for supplying the combustion air are arranged on bulges (10) which extend essentially radially outwards, which are essentially sawtooth-shaped in cross section and are oval or rectangular in shape, the longer axis of which runs essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tube (6).
2. Burner according to claim 1, characterized in that the bulges (10) are arranged in several rows in the same direction.
