Control device for the gas cast for the burner of liquid heaters,
The invention relates to a control device for the gas flow to the burner from Flüsaigkeitserhitzemj, in which a throttle device is arranged in the line leading to the burner, which is brought out of the throttling position as soon as the gas flow to the burner is opened. The movement of the throttle valve takes place through a membrane connected to it, which is loaded according to the gas pressure. The purpose of the control device is to initially only allow a low burner flame to form when the gas valve is opened, which flame only grows to full height when the droasel device is moved.
This avoids an explosive ignition of the flame and the deposition of soot.
The regulating device is also arranged and designed in its individual parts in such a way that, in addition to slow ignition, it also enables the gas pressure to be regulated to the respective set pressure and also enables the gas supply to the burner to be shut off quickly.
In the drawing, the device is shown in one embodiment in section.
A throttle device M is arranged in a housing j. The housing f is divided into two rooms by a partition 9.
The space h is connected to the gas inflow line e, while the space i is connected to the line l leading to the main burner b. connected is. The opening in in the vagina

The valve rod p is firmly connected to a membrane) r.
A delayed opening of the valve is achieved through a special valve design.
The valve, which is essentially shaped like a parabola, is cylindrical in the lower part for about a third of its length, so that no increase in the gas supply to the Brellner flames can take place during the period of decline of this part.
In the connection t to the space u below the membrane, which takes place from the space t, a valve is switched on. This valve consists in the illustrated embodiment

the chamber tl and from here through the bore w of the aluminum plate v into the chamber respectively. the channel Ci and then further into room I and the line t leading to the burner.
During this process, the membrane r, which is loaded according to the gas pressure, lowers and at the same time the valve body n as well.
The cylindrical design provided in the lower part of the valve body ensures that the gas supply to the burner flame cannot increase at the beginning of the valve lowering. Only when the valve body has lowered so far that the parabolic part enters the opening of the seat, Gradually more gas flows to the burner flames until they have reached full height.
The total height of the flames depends on the load on the membrane f, so the device acts as a pressure regulator.
When the water tap is closed, which usually also cuts off the gas supply to the burner at the same time, the membrane r and thus also the valve body n quickly rise to the original position, since in this case the aluminum plate v lifts off its seat and allows free access of the gas through the channels respectively. Spaces tt, tel and t in the space u below the membrane are permitted.
If the valve body n were to rise just as slowly as it sinks, then with two or more successive water withdrawals, a case which, especially when it comes to a central hot water supply system, would easily occur at different tapping points Soot-free and noise-free ignition does not take place because when the valve body is in position, gas can reach the burner with full force and unhindered.
