  Pfeiler aus ineinandergreifenden Profileiaen.
 EMI1.1

  Pillars made of interlocking profiles.
 EMI1.1

The subject matter of the invention is a pillar composed of interlocking, especially S-shaped profile iron, which can be used as a construction element in the construction of steel frames for houses, in drilling rigs, bridge piers or the like.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the pillar in cross section.
 EMI1.2
are designed in such a way that each cheek 2 is weak, the other 3 is held strong, and the pairs lie against each other in such a way that, in a manner known from sheet pile piles made of wood, there is always a re-entrant channel 4 on the one hand and a T-shaped head 2 on the other. 2 results. Further Prossleisen- 1 can then be introduced in the same arrangement into the cavity 4; In order to enable insertion from the side, a profile iron 5 without the cheek 2 can also be used instead.

To fill the last cavity, two U-irons 6, respectively. two angle irons indicated by dashed lines in Fig. 1 or a rail-shaped profile iron, whereas to close the T-shaped head 2, 2 profile irons 7 are used so that a smooth, solid surface is always available for the connection of cross members, etc. 9, 10, 11 is. The profile iron are held together by rivets or screws 8.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Pillar made of interlocking profile iron, characterized in that two S-shaped profile iron (1) are designed in such a way that each cheek (2) is weak, the other (3), however, is held strong that they are in pairs so that they form a T-shaped head (2) on the one hand and a correspondingly shaped channel (4) on the other hand in a manner known for sheet pile piles made of wood.

   2. Pillar, characterized in that to achieve a rectangular cross-section, the two profile iron (1) according to claim 1 are combined with U-iron.
