Description

  Dampfentöler.
 EMI1.1

  Steam de-oiler.
 EMI1.1
Grids flows through, of which each subsequent grid crosses the previous one. Compared to already known such vapor deoilers, the invention consists in the first place. that the collecting channels forming the grids are arranged obliquely and the grids are offset from one another in such a way that every third grid covers the gaps left by the two preceding grids.

As a result, all parts of the steam flowing through must come into contact with the collecting troughs, in which the steam gets rid of all separable components, which gradually descend in the inclined downwardly directed collecting troughs

at an angle of 45 and, as can be seen from FIG. 5, are formed by sheet-metal channels h1 which are rolled in a semicircular cross-section and which are somewhat narrower than the channels f forming the frame. The grid strips h and h1 of two consecutive grids cross one another, in the present case at a right angle, as is illustrated in FIG.

The gaps left free by two neighboring grids, in the present case square gaps, are always filled by the third grid h2, so that in this way all vapor particles come into contact with the collecting channels and in them all 01. fat,

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

As can be seen from FIG. 7, the ends of the inclined sheet metal channels h protrude through openings which are made in one leg of the U-shaped frame f into this frame and are firmly supported against the other leg.

In this way the separated downwardly flowing parts are guided into the collecting channel f and can finally be removed from the lower part of the housing c through the nozzle i.

The channels g arranged between the individual grids not only serve to stiffen and maintain the spacing of the grids, but also participate in the oil secretion due to their channel shape facing the steam flow. As can be seen from FIG. 2, at those points at which such a channel g passes behind the inclined collecting channels h of a grating a, openings k can be made in the latter, through which a part of the inclined collecting channels h passed Part is already discharged into the significantly larger vertical channels y, so that this prevents overfilling of the inclined mesh channels.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1, 1) steam separator, in which the steam flows through a number of grids arranged one behind the other, consisting of collecting and drainage channels for the oil etc., of which each subsequent grid crosses the previous one, characterized in that the collecting channels forming the grids ( h) arranged obliquely and the grids are offset from one another in such a way that every third grid (h2) fills the gaps left by the two preceding grids, so that all parts of the steam flow through the grids come into contact with collecting surfaces.

Claims (1)

2. Vapor de-oiler according to claim 1, characterized in that rods (g) are inserted between the individual grids to stiffen and maintain their spacing, which appropriately also form grooves facing the steam flow, wherein at the points where such a groove (g) passes behind the inclined collecting channels (h) of a grid, the latter are provided with openings (k). 3. 3. Steam de-oiler according to claim 1, characterized in that the frame bars (f) of the individual grids are designed as channels into which the inclined collecting channels protrude through guilds.
