Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gehhilfe für Starrverbände, bestehend aus einem aus dem Verband ragenden Zapfen aus Hartkunststoff und einem darauf aufschiebbaren, auswechselbaren Auftrittstöpsel aus Hartkunststoff, der mit einer, gegebenenfalls mit Gleitschutz versehenen Gummikappe umgeben ist.
Herkömmliche Gehhilfen haben den Nachteil, dass z. B. Wohnzimmerteppiche beim Gehen eingedreht und stark verschmutzt werden. Weiters besteht die Gefahr, im Winter bei Eis auszugleiten.

Erfindungsgemäss werden diese Aufgaben dadurch gelöst, dass erfindungsgemäss der Zapfen mit einer quer zur Zapfenachse wirkenden Kugelraste, bestehend aus Federhalterung, Kugel und Feder, die in eine am Auftrittstöpsel vorgesehene Ringnut, die in der für die Aufnahme des Zapfens vorgesehenen Ausnehmung des Auftrittsstöpsels angeordnet ist, einrastet.
Es sind zwar bereits aus der DE-PS Nr. 850217 und der FR-PS Nr. 952. 890 Gehhilfen, bestehend aus einem eingegipsten Halteteil und einem darin kugelig gelagerten und damit drehbaren Auftrittteil, bekannt, weiters ist aus der AT-PS Nr. 187626 die Auswechselbarkeit des Gleitschutzes bekannt.
Durch die erfindungsgemässe Ausgestaltung der Gehhilfe ist es demgegenüber jedoch mit relativ einfachen konstruktiven Mitteln möglich, den Zapfen gegenüber dem Auftrittstöpsel zu verdrehen, so dass der Auftrittstöpsel stillstehen kann und die Drehbewegung dadurch ausgeführt wird, dass der Zapfen, der über den Verband mit dem Bein verbunden ist, im Auftrittstöpsel gedreht wird.
Gleichzeitig wird über die Schnappvorrichtung eine Sicherheit gegen das Abstreifen des Auftrittstöpsels vom Zapfen geschaffen und die Auswechselbarkeit des Auftrittzapfens auf einfache Weise gewährleistet.
Dadurch, dass der Auftrittstöpsel, in den die Ringnut eingebracht ist, gleichzeitig den Tragteil für die Gummikappe darstellt, ist es möglich, den Tragteil und die Gummikappe voneinander getrennt zu erzeugen und zu einem beliebigen Zeitpunkt zusammenzubauen. Um im Winter auf Eis eine möglichst hohe Gehsicherheit zu erreichen, kann schliesslich in besonderer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung die Gummikappe mit Spikes versehen sein.
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend an Hand von in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert : Es zeigen Fig. 1 eine erfindungsgemässe Gehhilfe im Schnitt, wobei Zapfen und Auftrittstöpsel voneinander getrennt dargestellt sind, Fig. 2 eine der Fig. 1 zugeordnete Seitenansicht und Fig. 3 eine spezielle Ausführungsform des Auftrittstöpsels.

Die Kugelraste rastet dabei im zusammengebauten Zustand in eine Ringnut --7, -- ein, die in der Ausnehmung des Auftrittstöpsels --2-- für die Aufnahme des Zapfens --1-- angeordnet ist. Die Kugelraste --4, 5, 6-- besteht aus einer Feder --6--, die in einer Querbohrung des Zapfens --1-- gelagert ist, einem eingeschraubten Federhalter --4-- und einer Kugel --5--, die aus der Querbohrung vorsteht. Der Auftrittstöpsel --2-- stellt gleichzeitig den Tragteil für die aufgeschobene Gummikappe - dar.
Die Gummikappe --3-- kann dabei auch mit Spikes --9-- bestückt sein, wie dies Fig. 3 für einen Winterauftrittstöpsel zeigt.
Wenn der Auftrittstöpsel --2-- am Boden haftet, dreht sich der Zapfen --1--, der im Gips - verankert ist, in der Ringnut --7-- des Tragteiles --2--. Auf diese Weise kann die Gehbewegung ohne Behindern ausgeführt werden.
Die in Fig. 1 stark gezeichneten Kanten des den Zapfen --1-- aufweisenden Teiles, sind ringsum von Gips --8-- umgeben.
