The invention relates to a sliding gate, which is displaceably mounted on a lateral guide bracket by means of rollers attached there, which roll on a bottom rail connected to the sliding gate, without a support rail laid in the floor.
In such a known sliding gate, two rollers are attached to the guide block at a distance from one another, the front roller resting on the guide rail from below and the rear roller resting on the guide rail of the sliding gate from above. The two rollers keep the sliding gate in balance until it is pushed aside with more than half its length beyond the front roller. Then an impeller arranged at the rear end of the sliding gate, which runs on a base within the guide block, takes over the weight of the sliding gate. The load change and the existing two guides only allow the sliding gate to be opened and closed smoothly if the assembly is precise.
A sliding gate is also known, which is only supported on a hollow profile of the sliding gate without a support rail laid in the floor. The hollow profile is an open profile, which extends over the entire length of the sliding gate, and inside the hollow profile, rollers running from above or below run on it, which are mounted on a lateral guide block. The high contact forces of the rollers cause this sliding gate to deform the hollow profile very easily, making the sliding gate unusable.
The invention has for its object to provide a sliding gate without a support rail laid in the floor, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned, i. H. is very stable and runs smoothly with little effort. This object is achieved in a sliding gate of the type mentioned at the outset in that it is characterized by a further running rail which is fastened to the sliding gate further above, at least two spaced-apart running rollers abutting from below on the upper running rail and on the lower running rail At least two spaced-apart rollers rest from above and at least two of the rollers are vertically adjustable against the respective rail.
The rollers can be placed very easily and very precisely on the rails of the sliding gate located in the scale, which ensures perfect running.
The stability of the sliding gate is particularly good if the preferably four existing rollers have side collars, between which the rails designed as an upright rod are held.
The rollers are preferably slidably arranged in vertical slots of the guide bracket and can be fixed by means of an adjusting screw.
The invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment of a sliding gate according to the invention shown in the drawings. 1 shows the sliding gate in a side view and FIG. 2 shows a section through the sliding gate along the line 11-11 of FIG. 1 on a larger scale.
The sliding gate --1-- is mounted on a side guide bracket --3-- without a support rail laid in the floor --2-- of the entrance. The sliding gate-l-has a running rail --4-- running along its entire length at the bottom and a similar running rail --5-- at the top.
On the side guide bracket --3-- there are two rollers --6 or 7-- at the bottom and two rollers --8 or 9-- at the top. The upper rollers --8, 9-- lie against the bottom of the running rail --5-- and the lower rollers --6, 7-- from above against the running rail --4-- with great accuracy.
In Fig. 2 it can be seen that the four rollers --6 to 9-- have lateral collars --10--, between which the rails --4 or 5--, which are designed as an upright rod, are held.
The rollers --6 to 9-- are in vertical slots, not shown, in the upright profile --11-- of the guide block shown in Fig. 2 --3-- slidably arranged and fixable by means of vertical set screws, which are not shown in detail in the drawings are shown.
During assembly, the sliding gate-l-only needs to be brought into the horizontal installation position, whereupon all rollers --6 to 9-- can be adjusted against the rails --4, 5-- by means of their respective set screws.
The guide bracket --3-- is anchored in its concrete foundation due to the large tilting moment acting on it by means of anchoring elements not visible in the drawings.
