Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to a composite element, in particular for cladding walls, ceilings,
Floors and Like. With a sound insulation layer made of sheet metal, which has a foam layer on both sides. The composite element according to the invention should also be suitable for cladding pipes.
Various soundproofing insulations are known which generally consist of foam layers and / or nonwoven layers and fulfill their purpose more or less satisfactorily.
The aim of the invention is to create a composite element with which an optimal sound insulation effect is achieved. This goal is achieved with a composite element of the aforementioned
Type achieved in which, according to the invention, the foam layers, as is known per se, have open pores and a foam layer carries a preferably air-permeable nonwoven layer, the sheet metal layer consisting of a deep-drawn sheet and preferably connected to the foam layers by means of adhesive.
The composite element preferably contains as a nonwoven layer a needled nonwoven layer made of polyester filament, which is preferably bond-bonded.
The foam layer which carries the fleece preferably consists of the same material as the other foam layer, the material preferably being a polyester foam.
According to the invention, a deep-drawn sheet made of aluminum is particularly suitable as a sound insulation layer.
According to a special embodiment of the invention, the soundproofing layer is set back with respect to the edges of the other layers, preferably to an extent of 2 to 3 mm. This measure is intended to ensure that the soundproofing layer, i.e. the vibrating absorber, can vibrate freely.
The inventive combination of the sound-absorbing foam layer / fleece layer and the sound-absorbing layer made of deep-drawn sheet metal with the adjoining layer of foam achieves excellent sound insulation. In an exemplary and preferred embodiment of the invention, the composite element consists of a sound-absorbing absorber made of a needled air-permeable, binder-bonded nonwoven layer made of polyester filament with an associated open-pore foam layer made of soft polyester foam with preferably 40% open pores and a thickness of 5 mm, a deep-drawable steel sheet with a thickness of 1 mm and an open-cell foam layer with a thickness of 5 mm.
In the composite element according to the invention, the underlay layer made of foam can also be considerably thicker, for example up to 3 cm thick.
In a composite element according to the invention, the resonating absorber can be made of z. B. steel sheet and associated backing layer made of foam one or more times. The soundproofing layers made of deep-drawn sheet metal can have different masses, which allows different types of passage insulation to be achieved.
The foams used are said to be flame-retardant and non-smoking.
The composite element according to the invention can be pre-produced to size in plates. When laying the plates z. B. on the walls, the fleece layer represents the layer facing the room. This layer should therefore be papered. Laying on the walls is preferably done using contact or dispersion adhesive. The airtight connection of the joints of the panels takes place
EMI1.1
To ensure spacing of the composite elements on the floor, ceiling and walls, rubber buffers, for example with a thickness of 2 to 3 mm, can be pushed or glued onto the composite element. The connections can be closed with silicone.
According to the invention, the foam layer and the further layer made of foam are connected to the soundproofing layer made from deep-drawn sheet metal by means of a two-component adhesive with rust protection effect.
The composite element according to the invention can be used not only in plates, but also as partial shells for cladding z. B. pipes are pre-produced. In this case, it preferably consists of a closed-pore foam layer, an associated sound insulation
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
layer of sheet steel or aluminum and a base layer of foam connected to the latter. By the outer layer a closed-pore layer, e.g. B. is a PVC layer, the access of water, for. B. from plaster or concrete layers, to the soundproofing layer of steel or aluminum sheet prevented. The composite element according to the invention can, for.
B. be used as additional sound insulation for outer and intermediate walls and ventilation and cooling channels, as sound insulation on body components and sewage pipes.
In the drawing, a cross section through an inventive composite element designed as a plate is shown, for example.
According to the drawing, the composite element consists of a needled, binder-consolidated
EMI2.1
Polyester foam connected. An approximately 1 mm thick deep-drawn steel sheet --3-- is glued to this foam layer with a 2-component adhesive with rust protection effect. The steel sheet --3-- is also connected to a foam layer --4-- analogous to the foam layer --2-- using the adhesive already mentioned.
