14-- von dessen offener Stirnseite her eingeschoben. Fig. 2 illustriert die Anfangsphase dieses Vorganges.
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

The invention relates to a supporting structure for creating wall and / or ceiling constructions, in particular for a trade fair pavilion, open-air stand, single-storey or multi-storey hall stand or the like, with a support profile which has longitudinal radial ribs on which supports for wall and / or ceiling parts are releasably attachable, the ribs having an approximately T-shaped cross section and forming corresponding groove-shaped receptacles.
Column profiles of the aforementioned type usually serve as central construction elements or as corner construction elements, from which walls or ceilings which are at a certain angle to one another originate. The constructions to be created, e.g. B. exhibition stands, are usually designed as uniform quadrangular, hexagonal or octagonal constructions.
The object of the invention is to further develop an arrangement of the type described at the outset such that on the one hand the fastening of the supports to the support profile is simplified, on the other hand strength is improved and at the same time a reduction in the diameter of the support profile is possible.
According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the supports engage by means of three holders arranged in a support chamber approximately radially in three adjacent groove-shaped receptacles between four adjacent ribs of the support profile and that the three holding tongues counter to one another by means of clamping means arranged transversely to them the ribs of the support profile and at the same time can be braced against the inner wall of the carrier chamber receiving the retaining tongues.
The invention advantageously enables the radial attachment of supports to the support profile at any desired height without the need for axially inserting and fastening retaining rails in the groove-shaped receptacles between the ribs. In addition, the beams are not only hung on the support profile, but are non-positively and positively connected to the support profile by the bracing according to the invention. The strength of the ribs of the support profile is very favorable because the three retaining tongues engage in three immediately adjacent groove-shaped receptacles, so that the ribs are essentially only subjected to tension and not to bending.
By virtue of the tensile stress of the ribs of the support profile according to the invention, which is more favorable in terms of strength compared to a bending load, small wall thicknesses and thus a small diameter of the support profile are made possible. The above-mentioned elimination of separate holding rails in the groove-shaped receptacles between the ribs also has a very favorable effect on the subject of the invention with regard to minimizing the diameter of the support profile.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a clamping screw penetrating the carrier or the carrier chamber and the holding tongues in the transverse direction serves as the clamping means.
EMI1.1
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the three holding tongues together with the tensioning screw form a turnbuckle which is arranged within the respectively assigned carrier chamber. The division into carriers and separate turnbuckle simplifies the manufacture and assembly of the carrier, which, for. B. can be produced as a pulling profile from light metal.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the turnbuckle is at the same time fixed in the relevant carrier chamber by means of the turnbuckle, the turnbuckle passing through a bore in one of the side walls of the support.
Further details and advantageous refinements of the invention can be found in the subclaims and — based on exemplary embodiments — the drawings and the description below of these exemplary embodiments. It shows: Fig.! in horizontal section a circular cylindrical support profile with two diametrically opposed supports, one of which is shown in the mounting position and the second detached from the support profile, Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the support according to Fig. 1, with a partially mounted turnbuckle, Fig. 3 to 5 others 1, FIGS. 6 and 7 further embodiments of cylindrical support profiles, each in a sectional view corresponding to FIG. 1, FIG.
8 a carrier according to FIGS. 1 and 2, in transverse
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
9 and 15 show other embodiments of carriers, each in a cross-sectional illustration corresponding to FIG. 8.
In Fig. 1, --10-- denotes a support profile designed as a drawn hollow cylinder profile, which has --24-- ribs --11-- with a T-shaped cross-section on its circumference, between which groove-shaped receptacles --12-- extend .
Two supports --13 and 14-- are arranged at two diametrically opposite points of the support profile --10--, on which wall or ceiling parts (not shown) can again be attached in a suitable manner.
A turnbuckle is used to fasten the brackets --13 or 14-- to the support profile --10--, which is designated as a whole by --15--. The turnbuckles --15-- each have three plate-shaped or essentially plate-shaped retaining tongues-16, 17, 18--, each of which radially in three adjacent groove-shaped receptacles --12-- between four adjacent ribs --11-- of the support profile --10-- intervene. The spacing of the ribs --11-- and the thickness of the holding tongues --16, 17, 18-- are matched to one another so that the holding tongues --16, 17, 18-- in the unstressed state radially from the outside into the groove-shaped receptacles --12-- can be inserted between the ribs --11-- of the column profile --10--.
As can also be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the retaining tongues --16, 17, 18-- of the turnbuckle --15-- each have through bores --19, 20, 21-- which are aligned with one another. A corresponding hole --22-- is also provided in one side wall of the beams --13 and 14--. The hole --19-- in the outer retaining tongue --16-- is offset. The hole --21-- in the retaining tongue --17-- has a thread --23--, which cooperates with a clamping screw --24--.
As Fig. 1 shows, the mutually aligned holes --19 to 22-- in the assembled state of the turnbuckle --15-- are penetrated by the tensioning screw --24--. B. can be designed as a hexagon socket screw. The free end of the clamping screw --24-- engages in the thread --23-- in the hole --21--. The illustration according to FIG. 1 also shows that the distance between the three holding tongues --16, 17, 18-- can be reduced by tightening the clamping screw --24--. The two outer retaining tongues --16, 17-- each have a notch --25-- on their inner sides, which when tightening the clamping screw --24-- with the ribs --11-- of the support profile --10-- positively locked.
In Fig. 2 the assembly of the turnbuckle --15-- in the carrier --13 or 14-- is illustrated. The turnbuckle --15-- is first inserted into the hollow carrier-13 or 14-- from its open end. 2 illustrates the initial phase of this process. The spa connector --15-- is pushed into the bracket --13 or 14- until the holes --19 to 22-- are aligned.
The clamping screw --24-- can then be inserted into the holes --19, 20 and 22-- and easily screwed into the thread --23-- or --23-- of the hole --21--. The brackets --13, 14-- can now be mounted on the support profile --10-, as can be seen in Fig. 1, right side. Finally, by tightening the tensioning screw --24--, the beams --13, 14-- are finally fixed to the support profile --10--. It is explained in more detail below that the tensioning screw --24-- is not only used to tension the retaining tongues --16, 17, 18-- with the support profile --10--, but also at the same time fixes the tensioning locks - 15-- within the respective carrier --13 or 14--.
The turnbuckle --15-- has a rear, hollow part --33-- with a triangular cross-section, on which only the middle retaining tongue --18-- is integrally formed. The two outer holding tongues --16 and 17-- are designed as separate plate parts. They each have a cutting-like locking element --61-- on both sides, each of which is formed by two inclined surfaces --62, 63--. In the middle section --18, 33-- of the turnbuckle --15-- recesses are formed on both sides by inclined surfaces --64, 65-- into which the locking elements --61-- engage.
1 and 2 also show, the middle retaining tongue --18-- is wedge-shaped, i. H. their side surfaces marked --66-- converge towards the front at an acute angle. Due to the sloping surfaces --65, 66--, the middle retaining tongue --18-- becomes one on each side
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Edge --67-- formed, on which the two outer retaining tongues --16 and 17-- are tiltably arranged.
If the three retaining tongues --16, 17, 18-- in the assembled position of the turnbuckle-15- (Fig. L) are pressed together by the tensioning screw --24-- at the front (arrows 68), the rear ends have at the same time --69-- of the outer retaining tongues --16, 17-- (due to the beam-like mounting at --67--) the effort to swing outwards (arrows 70).
However, your freedom of movement is limited by the inner walls --71-- of the beam --13--. In this way, front tensioning of the retaining tongues --16, 17, 18-- by means of the tensioning screw --24-- simultaneously presses the retaining tongues --16, 17-- and thus the entire turnbuckle --15- firmly but elastically. - reached on the inner wall --71-of the beam --13--. The turnbuckle --15-- is thus firmly connected to the carrier --13--.
Axial fixation of the turnbuckle --15-- in its assembly position shown in Fig. 1 is also ensured by the head of the turnbuckle --24--, which on the one hand with the bore --22-- of the bracket --13-- ( or --14--), on the other hand interacts with the stepped bore --19-- the retaining tongue --16--.
3, 4 and 5, further embodiments of support profiles are shown. The support profiles --10a, 10B, 10c-- are each square in cross-section, with three groove-shaped receptacles --12-- on each circumferential surface, two ribs --11-T-shaped in cross-section at the profile corners Angle profile --52a or 52b or 52c--. 3 to 5, a total of four beams, e.g. B. of the type shown in Figs. 1 and 2 and designated --13, 14--.
The embodiments according to FIGS. 6 and 7, on the other hand, are support profiles-load or 10e--, which, viewed in cross-section, are semi-or respectively. are quarter-circle-shaped. These profiles come into consideration for applications in which a connection of beams is only required or provided over an angular range of 180 or 900.
The support profile --10e-- shown in Fig. 7 is also characterized by the special feature that its interior is suitable for receiving a turnbuckle --15-- (see Fig. 1 and 2). The support profile-lOe--, which is designed as a hollow light metal drawing profile, has two opposing counter-positions --80, 81-- which are molded onto the profile. The counter brackets --80, 81-- serve to support a

Tumbler-82-, holder --82-- on the other hand, a receiving chamber --87--, which is approximately square in cross-section (or rectangular) is formed, which is used to hold a turnbuckle (as e.g. in Fig. 1 and 2 with - -15-- is indicated).
In this case, the profile --10e-- no longer serves as a column profile, but can also advantageously be used alternatively as a support as a result of the measures described above.
The turnbuckle (e.g.-15--) is supported with its two outer retaining tongues --16, 17-- on the slightly inwardly curved walls --83, 86--.
The quarter-circular design of the cavity within the profile --10e-- and the symmetrical arrangement of the counter-brackets - 80, 81-- also allow a mirror-symmetrical arrangement of the tumbler --82--, as shown in dashed lines in Fig. 7 is indicated and designated with -. In the resulting receiving chamber, which is a mirror image of the receiving chamber --87--, a turnbuckle --15--, consisting of the three retaining tongues --16, 17, 18-- - is also shown in dashed lines to illustrate the options described above Lines - drawn.
The optional use of the support profiles as a carrier, given by the invention, is by no means limited to the quarter-circular support profile according to FIG. 7. Rather, the support profiles according to FIGS. 3, 4 and 6 are also quite suitable for inclusion - if appropriate using suitable counter-brackets and tumblers of turnbuckles (e.g. --15--), so that they can also be used as support profiles or supports.
For the rest, the support profiles shown (FIGS. 1 and 3 to 6), like the support profile according to FIG. 7 described above, are preferably designed as hollow light-metal drawn profiles.

receiving chambers, the advantage is achieved that when tensioning the turnbuckle --15-- against the inner walls, the desired line contact between the lateral retaining tongues --16, 17-- of the turnbuckle --15-- and the inner walls (e.g. B.-71 or 83, 86--) of the respective receiving chamber (e.g.-72 or 87--), taking into account that the inner walls when tightening the clamping screw-24- (cf.
Fig. L and 2) yield slightly elastically to the outside.
In Fig. 8 this bulging of the side walls --71-- is shown somewhat exaggerated for better illustration; in practice, bulges that are so slight may be sufficient that one would not recognize them at first glance.
The side wall bulges shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 can accordingly also be carried out with the supports or support profiles according to FIGS. 3, 4, 6 and 9 to 15 which are also suitable or intended for receiving turnbuckles. In the case of the profiles with a rectangular cross section of the receiving chambers (FIGS. 1, 2, 8, 12, 13 and 15), the two longer inner walls opposite each other would have to be curved outwards and thickened.
