<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

The invention relates to a key combination lock with a selectable electronic coding by means of keys, in which one with the keys and an electrically operated
Coding control circuit connected to the locking device is designed in such a way that each single or multiple actuation of a key triggers a pulse or switching process which is assigned to its value and which is assigned to a location in the combination, and in which the coding control circuit activates the current by means of a current source Current supply for an opening process contains a timer that is set to the operating state when the first key corresponding to the combination is actuated, so that after a time determined by the timer, the coding control circuit is de-energized again and the locking device is automatically blocked is.
Such a key combination lock is from DE-OS 2629218 or from CH-PS
No. 596417 known.
The invention is concerned with the electrically operable locking device provided in the lock and has set itself the task of creating a key combination lock of the type specified at the outset, which in connection with the coding control circuit and an electrically actuated locking device, in particular for the closure of smaller objects, such as filing cabinets, equipment cabinets, drawers, etc. Like. Is suitable and has the possibility, at certain times, for. B. during the day. allow opening without pressing a button. without the security against unauthorized opening being impaired in the normal closing state.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the closing device, in a manner known per se, is provided with an armature which is acted upon by a return spring
Output of the coding control circuit contains connected electromagnets for effecting a mechanical locking in the lock and that the armature is assigned a locking device that can be switched on and off, which locks the armature in its one position that allows the lock to be operated independently of the electrical one Condition of the electromagnet.
It should be noted that from U.S. Patent No. 3, 774, 422, FR Patent No. 2,381,156 and US Pat
DE-OS 2522973 electronic or electromechanical locking devices are known which contain an electromagnet with an armature acted upon by a return spring. The known locking devices according to US Pat. No. 3, 774, 422 and DE-OS 2522973 are provided with a locking element which cooperates with the electromagnet. In the former case, however, the locking position of the lock is automatically effected by the locking element when the door is closed, while in the second case the locking element locks a hinged anchor in the spring-loaded position, that is to say in the closed position, in order to prevent the lock from being opened by mechanical shaking.
In contrast, the locking device according to the invention, which can be switched on and off manually or electrically, prevents the lock from assuming its closed position, in which it can only be opened again by pressing the keys again in accordance with the present coding. If the locking device is switched on accordingly, it is thus possible to open the furniture part provided with the lock as often as desired without pressing a button or to lock it again safely by simply switching off the locking device.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the anchor is arranged as a coupling member between a bolt and a manual actuator of the lock. Alternatively, the armature can be arranged as a locking member for a bolt of the lock that can be displaced by means of a manual operating element.
Further features of the invention are explained in more detail below using exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawings. 1 shows a front view of a first exemplary embodiment of a key combination lock according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the upper narrow side of the lock according to FIG. 1 installed in a wooden door, FIG. 3 shows a front view of the lock according to FIG. 1 in section parallel to the front wall, FIG. 4 shows a front view of a second exemplary embodiment of the key combination lock according to the invention in a section parallel to the front wall.
The key combination lock shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a box-shaped lock housing --1-- with a front plate --2--, a rear side --3-- and a movable belt
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
gel --4-- on. 2, the lock is inserted into a wooden door --5--, for example a furniture door, in that it is let into a corresponding opening of the furniture door --5-- from the front, so that the front plate --2-- on the furniture door lies --5--, and is screwed to the furniture door from behind with screws --6-.
In the present example, five square buttons --7-- are embedded in the front panel --2--, which must be pressed in the correct order and number so that the lock is unlocked. To open the unlocked lock, a twist grip --8-- is located in the front panel and inside the housing. The twist grip --8-- has a grip part --9--, which is shaped so that it can be turned with your fingers on the one hand to move the bolt --4-- when the lock is unlocked and pulled on the other hand to open the furniture door --5-- after turning.
The front plate --2-- also has two contacts --10 and 11-- (Fig. 1), which are designed as button contacts and are used to connect the corresponding contacts of a commercially available 9V battery. This connection option is provided as an emergency power supply for operating the lock if an identical battery --12-- housed inside the housing-l - should fail. This battery --12-- is shown in dashed lines in FIGS. 1 and 2.
It serves to supply an electronic coding control circuit, which is designed as a printed circuit --13--, also shown in dashed lines in FIGS. 1 and 2, and as a power supply for an electrically operable locking device --14-- connected to the coding control circuit is merely indicated in FIG. 1 and is explained in more detail with reference to FIG. 3.
At the back --3-- of the lock there is a rotary knob --15--, which is used to permanently unlock the bolt --4--, so that the bolt can be operated by turning the rotary knob --8-- without pressing a button is possible (so-called day position).
3, the bolt --4-- is attached to a slide rail --16--, which is pulled outwards by a spring --17-- anchored in the housing --1--. The slide rail --16-- is provided with an arm --18-- extending vertically upwards, on which a relay with an electromagnet consisting of a coil --19-- and a magnetic core --20-- and a hinged armature --21-- is attached. The hinged anchor --21-- is inserted into its in by a spring --22--
EMI2.1
placed, lies at the magnetic core --20--.
A cam disk --23-- is assigned to the hinged anchor --21--, the axis of which --24-- is the axis of the rotary handle --8-- (Fig. 1, 2). The cam disc --23-- has a first recess --25- for the hinged anchor --21-- and a second recess --26--, in which a stop pin --27-- fastened in the housing --1-- - lies.
Furthermore, a cylindrical pin --28-- can be seen in FIG. 3, on which the rotary knob 15 (FIG. 2) located on the rear of the housing 1 is fastened. The cylindrical pin --28-- has only a semicircular cross section --29-- in the area of the hinged anchor --21--. H. a semicircular recess --30--.
The lock shown in Fig. 3 is in the aforementioned day position, i. H. by turning the knob --15-- (Fig. 2) the cylinder pin --28-- has been brought into such a position that its semicircular cross section --29-- pushes the hinged anchor --21-- downwards.
If the rotary handle --8-- (Fig. L, 2) is now turned clockwise about the axis-24- (Fig. 3) to open the lock, there is a limitation of the recess --25-- of the cam disc - -23-- to lie against the hinged anchor --21-- and pushes it to the right when turning further, so that the slide rail --16-- and thus the latch --4-- against the spring --17--
EMI2.2
handle --8-- can be opened.
However, if the rotary knob --15-- is turned in the normal position so that the semicircular recess --30-- is opposite the hinged anchor --21--, the hinged anchor --21-- is under the action of the spring - 22-- in the position shown in dashed lines in Fig. 3, d. H. radially outside the recess --25-- of the cam disc --23--. The cam disc --23 - and with it the rotary handle --8-- can therefore be freely rotated in the sense of a freewheel,
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
without the bolt -4-- being actuated. The freewheeling rotary movement is only limited by the length of the recess --26-- with the stop pin --27--.
To operate the lock and open the furniture door, the buttons 7- (Fig. 1, 2) must now be pressed in accordance with the present coding. If this is done correctly, the coil of the electromagnet receives a temporary current surge that pulls the hinged armature --21--. If the cam disc --23-- in the position shown in Fig. 3 on the stop in
Counterclockwise, the hinged anchor --21-- enters the recess --25--, so that, as already described, by turning the rotary handle --8-- (Fig. 1, 2) the bolt --4-- can be operated.
After the end of the current surge mentioned, the hinged anchor --21-- again reaches the position shown in dashed lines in FIG. 3, so that after the furniture door has been closed, it can only be opened again by pressing the buttons --7-- again. If the cam disk --23-- is not in the end position shown counterclockwise when the button is pressed, the hinged armature --21-- attracted by the magnetic core --20-- cannot go into the recess -25- - engage the cam disc --23--, which prevents actuation of the bolt --4--. This is another security measure against unauthorized operation of the lock.
While in the embodiment of FIG. 3 the hinged armature can be engaged as a coupling element by excitation of the magnetic core --20- or the rotary knob --15-- with the cylinder pin --28-- and the spring --22-- can be deactivated the rotary handle --8-- and the bolt --4-- is arranged, in the embodiment of FIG. 4 the hinged armature --21-- of the relay fixed here in the housing 1 acts as a blocking element on one of one Spring --31-- outwardly pressed slide rail --32-, to which the bolt --4-- is attached.
Only if the one of the
Coil --19-- surrounding magnetic core --20-- has been excited and has attracted the hinged armature --21--, the slide rail --32-- is unlocked so that it can be turned by a handle, not shown, whose shaft is connected to a Driver --33-- is provided, together with the bolt --4-- can be moved inwards.
To effect a day position in which a key operation is not required to open the furniture door, a second relay, which is also fixedly arranged in the housing, is provided with a
Coil --34--, a magnetic core -35--, a hinged anchor --36-- and a return spring --37- for the hinged anchor -36-- are provided. The ends of the two hinged anchors --21 and 36-- are each provided with a sliding piece --38 and 39--, which are in contact with each other.
In the rest position shown, the hinged armature --21-- of the first relay locks the slide rail -32-- and presses with its sliding piece --38-- the hinged armature --36-- of the second relay on its magnetic core --35- -. After pressing the correct button in accordance with the coding, the coil --19-- of the first relay receives a temporary surge, so that the hinged armature --21-- is tightened and the slide rail --32-- and thus the bolt --4-- unlocks be and the lock can be opened by turning the rotary handle, not shown.
After tightening the hinged armature -21-- by the excited magnetic core --20--, the hinged armature --36-- of the second relay is pulled into its rest position by the spring --37-- and then holds the hinged armature-21-in the tightened position, even if the coil --19-- is no longer carrying current. Thus, the lock can be opened any number of times without pressing a button, as long as the second relay is not energized, i.e. H. no current flows through its coil --34--. A short current surge through the coil --34-- pulls the hinged armature --36--. As a result, the hinged anchor --21-- is brought back into the rest position shown by the spring-22-. The slide rail --32-- and thus the bolt -4-- are locked again.
The embodiment of FIG. 4 is particularly suitable for a locking system with several pieces of furniture secured by locks shown, the coils --34-- of the second relay of all locks being connected to a central point. At the beginning of a working day, all locks are opened individually by pressing a button and remain in the day position described. At the end of the working day, all locks of the locking system can be locked from the central point by applying a short current pulse to the lines leading to the coils --34-- of the locks. It should be noted that neither the day position nor the locked position consume a supply current, except for a short time for the first opening of the locks and for the final locking of all locks.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
It is of course also possible to excite the relay of FIG. 3 and the first relay of
4 from a central point or from a specific one of the locks by pressing a key and thus to bring all locks of the locking system into the day position centrally or to lock them again.
Furthermore, it is readily possible to provide the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 3 with a second relay in accordance with FIG. 4 instead of a rotary knob for effecting the day position.
